In addition to the cuts that I added after the broadcast, I also added live percussion throughout, sang on a few cuts & grooved on the vocoder all recorded in a straight through session with no editing until after the performance was complete. FMO Funk is a weekly mix series hosted by @Kirollus celebrating the sound of boogie and 80's funk.

We're very pleased to have Austin, Texas born and raised DJ & producer Danbone for this week's show. Dan is best known for his work with the modern funk label Austin Boogie Crew (ABC) and more recently  as founder of Funky Crates, a platform that hosts live vinyl sets from different DJs around the globe.

Danbone runs Austin’s edition of the @austinboogiecrew's night, 'The Boogie' with fellow members Chicken George and Chorizo Funk and alongside modern funk & boogie he incorporates jazz fusion, Brazilian jazz, reggae and even some Library/AOR sounds into his mixes. His appreciation for jazz funk is very evident here with plenty of early 80's fusion as well as fresh new releases from 2020.

The show also features an exclusive look of her brand new single ‘Deja Vu’ produced by B. Bravo (an absolute monster of a track!).
