Welcome to the kickoff of my DediCast series! This is where I spotlight the incredibly talented producer/artist friends in my network, whom I consider to be exceptionally skilled. In each installment, I’ll dedicate an entire mix exclusively to their outstanding productions. Get ready for a musical journey celebrating their creativity and prowess.

Introducing Snad, also known as Spandrel, a prominent figure in the circles frequented around Club der Visionaere on warm summer afternoons. Splitting his time between Berlin and Philadelphia, Snad has etched his name in the scene, boasting 12-inch releases on European labels like Phonica, 20/20 Vision Minibar and Pleasure Zone. Despite his European ventures, he stays true to his roots, showcasing his US influence with records on Chez Damier’s Courtesy Of Balance Recordings.

Considered a rising star in the forecasted full on mnml revival, his sonic creations reflects the delicate weave of experiences gathered from his time in Chicago, Goa, and Berlin. Beyond geographical boundaries, Snad’s evolving ties to the Indian Underground position him as a significant player within enlightened circles. These circles, still traversing the Silk Roads, take their underground culture seriously, irrespective of their global location. Keep an ear out for Snad’s continual musical journey.

It's been four years since Efdemin last released a full-length, but the Berlin techno mainstay is set to return on April 13 with Naïf, a hybrid album/mix CD. The record features 29 tracks of previously unreleased music from both Efdemin and a bevy of collaborators (e.g. Marco Shuttle, Gunnar Haslam, Steve Bicknell), and ahead of the LP's arrival we debuted the hypnotic melodies of "Love" on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.
