Just discovered this track today and it's such a hidden gem. So chilling. Damn. <3 You guys so much.

I have been listening to this song on and off for a long time now, and have found my way of understanding it. The little girl speaking is the I, me, and the pawed creature is something inside me that causes "negative emotions". I can only imagine why I let that creature take over. When it took over I was the saddest, but sometimes I needed it. It is good that the thing that made me sad is under control, but I must never throw it away, for we do need sadness sometimes. My sadness sometimes led to dangerous thoughts of death, and I have only my self to blame for it. I was like this for what felt the longest time, but it did change, I did let love in, it works. And as the song, I too thought love ad left me forever, and i was ready to give up. I'm glad I didn't. I'm not writing this to seen or heard. I wish to tell te person who wrote this beautiful piece that I know how feel. I also wish to thank the Studio Killers for making this song. When I do feel sad it reminds me of the love in me.
