Het eerste volwaardig elektronische wapenfeit van Jurgen De Blonde, alias Köhn (ook bekend als Ed Nelbod en een vierde van de Portables). Met behulp van allerlei huis-, tuin- en keukenmateriaal brouwt hij een bezwerende en beklemmende elektronische wereld zonder echter het songaspect uit het oog te verliezen. Clicks, bleeps, beats en noise die recht uit het hart komen. Hartverwarmend en op geen enkel moment klinisch. Of hoe elektronica ook zonder laptop kan! Thurston Moore was zodanig onder de indruk van dit knutselwerkje dat hij Köhn in '97 spontaan liet openen voor Sonic Youth in Brussel.

Finally Jürgen (aka Köhn) long awaited "pop" album sees the light off day. It really is not so far off what he does with Köhn but guitars, and vocals certainly get more attention.  Lots of  people will be surprised with the high quality of songs, but those who are familiar with the strange Köhn structures will certainly dig this too.  A diffrent angle, a diffrent view... Dr. Pop kicks back right in the balls.  Lovely album.  Another star shining on the (tomlab)lab-tree
