Here is the last patch i made for Roland XV5080, it was quite intense programming, took me awhile to do it right since i realize no one ever made such a patch for this machine, it is highly reserved for Kurzweil, and i`ve seen it on Tritons etc. 
Post apocalyptic pad style in shine on your crazy diamond meets Blade Runner. Hope you will like it.

CrazyD K2000 (Ambient Pad)

I wanted to make smoothest lead sound as possible for my beloved XV module. It works great for music breakdown, or very mellow, musical background. It suits well from rap, prog rock, jazz, pop,synthpop, new age to prog metal.
Quite satisfied with results. Lovely patch. ;)

DW8000Cream (Synth Lead)

One of the weakest points of factory patches in XV5080 are rock organs, they sound so bright, romplerish and overall fake. And when you turn on leslie your ears bleed how harsh it sounds.  
After so many takes on programming i managed to get somewhat nice classic mellow hammond sound.

B3 M.Leslie (Hammond Organ)

My take on Juno Alpha synth tone. Since i own one i wanted to make few patches for this module. I think it goes into that territory, with slightly more low end thump, and high end grittiness.
I`m quite proud of this patch. Soundtoys Plate added at 15%, nothing else.
And forgive me for my sloppy playing, it was recorded without any practicing.

Juno Alpha 2

Pretty mighty brass synth lead patch i made recently, the best i heard from this module to be honest. I used Jupiter saw waveforms, but i was programming it to behave like famous brass patch from Roland JXP8, and last but not least i panned it in modern Trance way giving it wider stereo sound and modern edge to the tone.
Very agressive, yet very musical.
Added Low Pass filter on 12hz to get rid of high end,and 15% of Arturia Chorus Jun-6, thats it.

Trance JX8P (Brass Lead)

The very same architecture of previous patch i made, just this time reshaped to get more warmer, calmer,also thinner to fit to busy mix, for more subtle or vintage music. 
This way you are covered with whatever you desire to do with super saw sound.

XV Warm SSaw (Super Saw)

Previous FM Piano i made is more mid frequency oriented, warm and sweet, this one is made to be pretty bright and cutting, going into TX territory, also it has nice layered pad sound to fit to pop or any modern music which love some 80s cheese stuff.
I added on eq high shelf over 12khz around -8db to sweeten bit high end,Arturia Chorus Jun-6 on 38% and Soundtoys little Plate on 15%.

Bright FM EP (DX7 Electric Piano)

Recreation of famous Roland TB-303. It went quite well. Of course it dont sound exactly as real deal, rather XV`s engine version of it.
No post processing except high shelf on 2khz to -12db to make it warmer and more bass alike.

TB 303 Bass

Dark, trancy , lofi Pad, with additional LFO CC`s made for control in real time. 
Its similar to my previous pads i made, yet had its own character.
No post processing, raw sound of the XV5080 machine.

LoFiBlofeld (Pad)

JV/XP/XV units are well known for being able to achieve quite good impression on ambiental brass pad sound from Vangelis Chariots of Fire. 
I personally didnt choose to the direction to emulate CS80 better since i think such a thing is not possible in rompler format, but i would rather do my own take on such a sound and give it more life since XV5080 is very capable of that. Patch possess very good low end which i demonstrated on ending of sound example.
Play it softer and it goes really mellow and sweet, give it harder hit and it screams in typical Vangelis style.
One of favorite patches i made.

Fiery Chariot (Bright Pad)

This patch is strange beast, it has splitted key selection and CC programed so it can fit to various things, from Rise effect used on most electric music genres, to plucked style tone somewhat similar to one used on song Insomnia from Faithless,but thats not all.
It can do synth fx tones , and at the end something that resemble to old digital sampler`s from 80s bell alike tone. 
It all matter how CC parameters are tweaked.
No post processing, raw patch.

XV Insomnia (Synth FX/Plucked)

Since XV5080 possess all waveforms needed i wanted to make close as possible famous first Fantasia patch from D50. I know there are already plenty of similar patches in the JV/XV/XP series, but i had feeling i could get it to sound more to real deal, and i think i got there pretty close.

I used LP filter on 12khz, 12% of Arturia Jun-6 chorus and 15% of Little Plate from Soundtoys.

D50 Fantasia (Bell Pad)

Very simple sound that is going into J.M.Jarre Oxygen territory, but not too much.It was rather a starting inspiration for the patch. 
Trumpet alike sound mixed with plucked elements,designed for some sequencing and simple phrases. One thing is for sure, it has pretty warm character.
Good fitting for synthwave music.
These kind a sounds can be used for pluck arpeggio phrases,and it work well on lower notes as well.
Waves H-Reverb on 15% and thats its. The rest effects are coming from the module.

Oxygen Staccato (Synth Pluck)

80s cheesy saw tone that has lot of high end harmonic and bite for lead melodies. It also has huge low end, and great for some layering. 
Terminator theme or any famous 80s tune with commanding saw sound will be perfect choice for such a sound. 
No post effect were used, only Waves H-Rever on 10% and thats it.

80s Epic Saw

XV synths are very good at pads in general, but i wanted to make Korg Trinity style patch that was used at lot of new age music in 90s, and mostly in Symphonic metal bands such as Nightwish. 
Its lo fi, its romplerish, dreamy and emotional soft pad that with higher hitting goes into more evolving territory. 
No post processing on this one.

Holy Trinity (Soft Pad)

Sound FX/Pad that can be used in new age, ambiental, cinematic, or even prog music. 
I`m very proud of the results, whole 3 minute session is made out my noodling around, 4 CC parameters are there in real time to control behaviour of this beast
And no, it has no organ, choir or similar waveforms, but it sounds like that due to heavy programming of 6 LFO`s at the same time.
I would only advice to have volume pedal/expression pedal near you if it gets out control, cause it can get unpredictable if you hit some notes really hard. 
I adore everything about this patch. No sound effects in post processing, only 10% of H-Reverb to add bit more space to the track.

Alien Inside (FX Pad)

This patch is low end monster. Its lead tone made especially for low scales to sound monstrous.
Not to say it doesnt have good tone in higher octave. Quite contrary, but lower parts are agressive and mean, higher smooth,musical and more Moog alike.
8 different waveforms, and within them there is Sync Sweep to give that specific sound in mind. 
This is my tribute to Korg Trinity or Kurzweil Lead sounds used in progressive metal music. 
No effect in post processing, all you hear is coming from the module.

4OSCSyncMoog (Lead)

Instant cinematic orchestra in one patch. There are no music box, or string waveforms there. All i used were saw/square/sine oscillator with heavy ammount of programming.
Patch allows you to play melodies, and at higher notes they resemble to music box, harder hit it terribly resemble to orchestra. 
I was always a dreamer, and various famous movie tracks or new age artists really were huge inspiration for my life. 
Patches like this one are my tribute to that impression they left on me.
Hope you will like them as much as i do. 
No effects in post processing, all coming out of the module.

Star Seeker (FX Soft Pad)

This is the last of the pads i programmed for this soundset. 
It has that typical 80s vibe and its designed for some phrases when you want to evoke that detective mystery vibe.
No effect were used in post processing. All coming from the module.

Twin Peaks (Bright Pad)

Another take on Yamaha CS80 Vangelis Pad,this one is softer and calmer. Its similar to JV880 Pads, made to sound the best when you play extremely soft, and let the filter do its job. 
Very relaxing patch. No post processing,all effects are from the module.

Eternal Flame (Soft Pad)

Dark string patch in JV style that is made out 4 s@w waveforms to mimic string orchestra. So no string waveforms were used here.

Hitting chords on few spots very hard, which not only create high volume, but open one waveform to show that bitey, punchy s@w character. Patch sound full and smooth at all 7 octaves. I can play it for days.
10% of Waves H-Reverb and that's it.

JV CineStrings

Previous Blofeld Lead i made was over the top dark and aggressive beast.
This one is typical Trance lead with 3 CC Midi Matrix controls that fits  for the that music genre. I wanted to keep the edge and bright overal tone, but still to sound balanced at high end, which almost all techno factory patches i heard on XV having struggle. 
No post processing.

Blofeld Trance Lead

6 different patches in one demo.
Largo is made for super slow music, Andante for medium tempo music.
There are 3 different sections, violins and violas, cellos and violoncellos and whole String sections.
I `ve been refining them this whole week, and new one are coming on its way.

Largo And Andante Strings

6 patches of legato and staccato divided again into sections:  vlns/vcls , cls, vlcs and whole string section. 
Legatos made to be enough smooth and clean for fast lines, staccatos to have accented first note so they easily jumps out in a mix.  
They can probbably be used for other articulations, but i tweaked/programmed them specifically for this task.

Legato And Staccato Strings

The last in line 6 Marcato and Agitato patches that will cut through densest mix, the pinnacle of all the string patches. 
List of patches :
1. Staccato/Legato Marc - articulate tone, beefy, and warm. 
2. Mellow MarcS - fullest possible sounding orchestra that can play fast, holding chords is so musical on this one. 
3. FantasMarcB - Nightwish type of Marcato,full but bright and cutting.
4. FantasMarcD - Variation for more subtle and darker tone.
5. Agitato Vlns - Ultra fast and emotional violin section.
6. Agitato Str - The brightest of all patches that can take extreme and fast arpeggios on higher registers. 

No post processing, only slight H-Reverb is added for ambience sake.

Marcato And Agitato Strings

Synth Bell sound that sits between PPG and D50, possess bit of both qualities. It works well on low and high octaves too. If you play it soft it sound sweeter and D50 alike, if you play it energetic it starts to get grainy and grungy reminiscent of PPG. 
Designed for adding character/flavor of 80s music in general.
No post processing.

DigiPPGBells

Typical bell sound you find all over late 80s and 90s. XV has it only in GM format which sounds pretty thin and harsh, so i tried to make one that is rounder, but still to had that high end spark.
It would fit from comercials , pop/synthpop to new age, retro video game music or even symphonic metal.
Only H-Reverb is added to post production around 30% and that's it.

CrystalBells

Emulation of Roland JP8000. I had opportunity to play with one recently, friend of mine bring it to my studio, we jammed all day long and created famous super saw patch on a spot. I was analyzing it and trying to mimic some of its behavior into XV and i think it got pretty close there.
Bite and low and are on the spot.
I added 38% Jun-6 Chorus from Arturia and Waves H-Reverb on 15%, and that's it.

Bright Super S@w

Oberheim OB-Xa alike patch. Thick, full, also bright with lot of rich harmonic content.
No post processing except Soundtoys Little Plate at 19% and thats it.

OB - XaThickS@w

Ambient evolving pad patch in Roland JP8000 style. I programmed 8 LFO`s where 4 are random so you never get two chords identical.
Very rewarding pad which can fit to various style of music.

The only post processing i done is that i chopped chords and on some where i hit too low notes i cut on 128khz from -4 to -8db to balance things out, and thats it.

JP8000 Motion (Evolving Pad)

Basic 909 kick, snare , open-closed hi hat kit. The reason i choose to make drums in patch mode is that sadly it has more options for sound design then in rhythm mode(especially common section and LFOs).
Each drum component has one octave range so you can choose whatever suits to your taste. Lower gets very chunky, higher are more cutting.
Each waveforms i filtered just right.
5 CC MIDI commands carefully programmed to expand the options of snares giving different flavors for different music genres.
CC examples goes in this direction:
Reverb on snare, LFO1 in rap style, LFO2 in high pitched"side stick alike sound", compressed lo fi effect for gritty, dark and thrashy snare.
With mixing those 5 CC`s you can make your own snare sound, these examples are straight forward, one by one.

909 Kit KSH

XV5080 do not possess waveforms for whole kit for some reason, and i decided to make mix of 606 and 808 called 806 kit. The same approach as with 909 kit i made previously.
5 CC Midi commands as well for different flavors and snare sounds.
