Have you seen the "Green Comet" which is currently passing our sun and our planet. My wife and I were lucky enough to see it late one night with binoculars last week. It has been 50,000 years since it last passed. And those who saw it then were the people we call Nehandertals.

An incredible amount has happened on our planet and with humanity, since then. But how do you describe this immense time perspective, and humanity's possible "development"?

There was only one person I could turn to, and that is our superb and eminent soundcloud poet, Peter. With incredible accuracy, he describes the "development" of humanity in this long period, with a poem and a reading that is excellent. Just as he did in the trilogies we presented here, which he helped to create in recent months. ;))

I thank you with all my heart Peter, for your cheerful soul, helpfulness and friendship. ;)

Hey, remember me? Your old green comet friend up here?
We've met before, a while ago it seems, when last I passed your azure sphere.
Though blue and green should ne'er be seen, or so the saying goes

I thought I'd drop on by again, shoot the breeze, in my orbital throes.
As you were then, so “primitive” is how you now refer

While yours of past did best with least let's view your present kind

Of daily slaughter West to East springs foremost to the tender mind.
Is this advancement? Cultured fine? High ethics by the penny?
More like the smouldered scent of the anti-personnel mine
So catastrophic for so many.

Your ancient tribe-lets bonded well, familial of cares
Evolved to this despondent hell of risible despairs.
In much, much less than fifty thousand of your years.

Remember Me, The Green Comet - Peter & Seagull

I became a fan of Beacon several years ago. What a sound! What a band! This band inspires like hell! Thanks to Thomas Mullarney and Jacob Gossett, the two founders of Beacon. 

* I know I can't make my music sound like Beacon. 
* But I can try!

Beacon

An amateur cover version of Chick Corea's song "Eternal Child" (from the album "Eye of the Beholder", 1988). Not much improvisation here.... just a basic version showcasing Mr. Corea's ingenious composition. After installing the new awesome Rhodes V8 plugin I decided to try to record this song using a lovely and dynamic Dyno Rhodes type of electric piano sound.

Played by me with my Korg SGProX digital stage piano using the Rhodes V8 Pro virtual electric piano (Rhodes MK8; preset name "Dyna-Mite" and player profile "Dyn-O-Mighty", with some tweaking by the undersigned), Yamaha Montage 8 (CFX Concert) and Arturia CZ V (cf. Casio CZ-1, CZ-101).
