A driving, 70s jazz-rock-disco inspired work-out from the Marxist Love Disco Ensemble. ‘Material’ is the second single to be taken from their forthcoming album, ‘MLDE’. Building from the bass-guitar intro, it introduces a Moog, a haunting Arp Solina string machine, live percussion, and layered glazed vocal arrangements, invoking elements of Gino Soccio as it escalates. The song explores aspects of dialectical materialism and revolution, all shrouded in the format of a bonafide club dancer.

Technimatic - Mucky Jeff

STUFF. is a 5-piece live band that brings a crossgenre groove, from broken hiphop to more electronic and jazz influenced future funk. They will release their debut album spring 2015.

Brussels AB venue asked them to be artist in residence. In only one afternoon's time, the band made three live remixes of songs by artists playing at AB this season: Afrika Bambaataa, Jungle and Little Dragon.
