Failure is embarrassing. It sucks. And typically it's covered up. People like to cover up failures with lionized stories of success. Instead, let’s hear the real stories of learning and growth, stories of reality and truth. 
As the founder of a tech startup, I am best friends with failure. I made every mistake. 
When I learned I would soon become an uncle, I wrote three letters to my to-be niece of advice, admission, and acceptance. This is the full story behind those letters.
