This year's free/renegade burn unfolded itself most unexpectedly. 
14 days before the burn, I received an invite from Amsterdam to support a friend's art project with my music. Everything which followed felt like a streak of kind gestures from the universe. 

This art project by Studio Drift brought two hundred drones to the playa to fly a series of magical art pieces in the black rock city sky.  

A tribute for all hearts who have burned in this place. ⁣⁣⁣A gift for the burning man culture and an homage to previous artists who united this beautiful community.  ⁣

To everyone who made this trip and experience possible, thank you. I have no words. The same goes for all those who came to listen. 

All the beautiful burners who showered me with love, support, food, and gifts all week, realize you are part of this recording. 

I am sending my endless love to the Studio Drift  & Robot Heart families for this opportunity to co-create. Without words of how you gift in such a selfless manner. ⁣⁣

This was me in flow on Saturday morning before the sun came out and Diplo took over. I loved this moment in time. I wish you all a beautiful journey, and I look forward to many dusty camping adventures with most of you.

Words from the Artist @wearechambord: When the Flow Sessions team asked us to make a podcast of 3:33:33 secs, we accepted straight away! It’s quite unique to do a long podcast when all tracks have an importance and a special place in the set. The goal behind this journey was to create a glimpse of what a night with us might entail. We brought grooves, energy and different moods in this unique session. Hope you will enjoy the ride as much as we loved making it ;)

With a unique and special identity, Chambord’s exhilarating eclectic energy and charged live shows quickly earned them a reputation as one of the most exciting acts to emerge from the Parisian music scene. Their dynamic and melodic sound originating from their boundless visual imagination along with their resonating live performances and DJ sets helped the duo quickly rise to prominence. Creating a fanbase across the globe by performing at some of the most celebrated and renowned events such as Mayan Warrior, Ondalinda, Gardens of Babylon, ADE, Woomoon, and Sonar Festival (to name a few), the duo have established themselves with a high energy performance that is not to be missed. In June 2022, they launched their own new label called Around Midnight with a seminal remix of Radiohead's Reckoner.

Hello friends! Here is the recording of my very first set at Stereo Montréal

A place that truly feels like (((home))) 

A room that means so much to many of us and that sparks wonders for those who haven't been yet. A space where we can be free, all together. A spaceship that uses vibrations to bend space and time. A temple where music becomes alive.

It was an honour to have the chance to play in this room for 11 hours to the most amazing group of humans. It's been a dream of mine for so many years to have the chance to play there and it's one of most meaningful moments I ever lived. Stars were aligned, the collective energy was truly beautiful and I am happy to be able to share with you the soundtrack of that night. 

Thanks to all the @stereonightclub team for the incredible work to co-create such a sacred space for music. 

A special thanks to Luc for the cosmic visuals during the night.

And thanks to all of you family and friends who joined the journey.

Kora @ Stereo Montréal • All Night Long • Part One [30.04.2022]

On Monday afternoon my camp Rise and I headed out for the first time on our artcar. Driving all across Burning Man for five hours was the perfect way to get a sense of the magnitude of this incredible spectacle. Besides my fellow Rise family more and more people hopped on the artcar. The vibe was incredible! And this ended up being one of my favourite memories of the week.

At one point we were cruising deep playa while the sun was setting. The artcar was super packed. Everything is covered in a smooth golden light. People dancing. People holding on to the car on their boards. People cruising along on their bikes. This was such a surreal and magical scene to experience. And int he back of our minds we were all realizing that this was only the first day. This was only the beginning of one of the most special weeks of our lives.

As it all happened very spontaneously, nothing was recorded, and so I decided to re-record part of this memorable journey and share it with you.

Special thanks to Rise for hosting me and for bringing the most incredible art experience to the playa.

Burning Man 2022 | Rise

Angels,

We are closing this year with the final sets of ADE! In comes our forever hero Milo Häfliger. Due to a busy schedule that ADE weekend, we welcomed him on an early slot on Sunday, instead of his usual closing slots. But whenever or wherever we place this ultra talent he smashed it in any case.. Gosh how we love him and his music!!!

In the end we're beyond grateful to start the day with Milo. It was immediately the right mood, the right sound, the right everything.

ta taaaaaa! 

here is my set I played at the legendary Kiosk at KaterBlau in Berlin Sunday night for Britta Arnold's party Grrr mit Brrr ⚫️✖️

KaterBlau for me has always been more than a club, it’s a musical landmark, a playground full of surprises, a cosy and unique space to be free and one of my favourite places on earth! 

the Berlin crowd is very educated. they are in a way even spoiled with good music all the time, yet they are so open and welcoming to anything and you can see and feel that they want to support new and excited faces! 

i felt very comfortable and welcomed behind the decks even though i was beyond excited to play amongst my biggest inspirations and my legs were still shaking towards the end of my set.

the sound of the recording is unfortunately not the highest quality, but i still want to share it with you and i hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoyed playing it 🌟💫 

It was a super fun party. thanks to everyone who came, danced, cheered, showed love.

Elif - Grrr mit Brrr | KaterBlau Kiosk, Berlin [11.03.2018]

Sturge, DJ & producer, originally from Belfast is now based in Ibiza, after spending over a decade in London. He has been DJing and promoting electronic music parties across Europe and beyond for many years; from Belfast to Burning Man, London to Berlin. One of the curators for the Celtic Chaos stage at the Burn, he takes pride in his curation as much as his DJ sets..

An avid collector of all things electronic, he was brought up on a diet of purist Techno in the late 90s and early 00s, but these days the BPM is irrelevant. Sturge is as comfortable playing anything from downbeat to techno, but his eclectic sets usually veer towards emotive and driving melodic Techno - emotion is paramount in all his selections and taking the listener on a journey is always the intention.  

As much a regular in the underground scene as he is on some of main the stages in London and at Burning Man, he has shared the stage with the likes of Gorgon City, Township Rebellion, Josh Butler, Roy Rosenfeld, Jim Rider, Jon Charnis, Guy J, Guy Mantzur, Mees Salome, John Daly, Moonwalk, YokoO, Be Svendsen, Jan Blomqvist, Chaim, Solvane, Prismode, The Scumfrog, Unders, Britta, Goldcap, Sabo, Rey&Kjavik, The Desert Hearts crew and Aidan Doherty, to name just a few. Recent stand out sets at Akasha in Ibiza bode well for the next chapter of his career..

Inspired by his electronic journey over the last 3 decades, lockdown was spent building a new studio as he hones his craft and sound. With releases coming shortly on some of the biggest labels, the next few years are going to be exciting with sets lined up across the globe...
