What a beautiful piece. Playful in parts, then a little "majestic" again. I'm looking forward to the second part. 💫

A lovely, energetic and adventurous composition. I like the urgent woodwind melodies on top of the arpeggios that are later carried on by the powerful string lines on top of the fierce brass. I'm excited for the next part :-)

Explanation: Why is there a huge eye in the sky? Diamond dust. That is an informal term for small ice crystals that form in the air and flitter to the ground. Because these crystals are geometrically shaped, they can together reflect light from the Sun or Moon to your eyes in a systematic way, causing huge halos and unusual arcs to appear. And sometimes, together the result can seem like a giant eye looking right back at you. In the featured image taken in the Ore Mountains of the Czech Republic last week, a bright Moon rising through ice fog-filled air resulted in many of these magnificent sky illusions to be visible simultaneously. Besides Moon dogs, tangent arcs, halos, and what's called a 'a parselenic circle', light pillars above distant lights are visible on the far left, while Jupiter and Mars can be found just inside the bottom of the 22-degree halo. "

A score reading into a sequence for the original instrument combo, produced ca 2000's by H.Fesefeldt (1942-2019, a German nuclear physics researcher & music software developer) was used as source material, after reviewing it quite freely on its its articulations, tempos, dynamics,and other interpretational details by VV.
A pair of Petrof Mistral 284 modeled grands, revoiced & reconfigured by VV, were used on its playback-recording after these modifications.

The journey began at dawn, the father and daughter standing side by side, gazing at the towering mountains ahead. Snow-capped peaks stretched endlessly into the sky, their path winding through rugged trails and shadowed ravines. She clutched a satchel filled with tokens of home, while he adjusted the straps of his pack.

“Are you afraid?” he asked.

She shook her head. “No. Are you?”

He chuckled. “A little.”

Days passed in a rhythm of trudging steps and whispered stories. She marveled at soaring eagles and winding rivers below, while he spoke of distant lands—golden temples, ancient forests, markets brimming with spices. At night, they traced constellations, writing their own story in the stars.

Then, one morning, they crested the final ridge. Below them stretched a vast valley, lush and untouched, shimmering with warmth and rich with the scent of an ancient world.

Her father placed a steady hand on her shoulder. “We have arrived.”

“What do you think is waiting for us?” she asked.

He smiled. “Only what we are brave enough to find.”

They took their first steps downward. Their journey had only just begun.
