As part of our ongoing efforts to look for top notch sound designers across the globe, we fell upon the auteur of our next release. The parisian De Grandi and his turbo-charged club beats serve us a filled platter of 4 Tracks and two remixes in ‘Testa Dura’.

Going through a thick bass + crisp percs combo and perpetual crescendos we start things off with the main course — and title track: a dubstep to tribal hybrid launching at full throttle across a universe of trickling electronics. A taster of what’s to come, a record packed with intricacies and high risk dubs.

This time we got two remixes from three producers in the UK:FR wavelength, Beatrice M. with their signature Dubstep elegance + the can you feel the sun duo Call Super + Parris injecting the house flare with the finger snapping vocals.

Here’s the latest instalment of our Sticky Mix series, where we invite friends of HONEYPOT to get on the decks and record some extra sweet tunes 🐝🍯

Charlotte, a Cork born and based DJ, has made a name for herself over the past 3 years with shows at Cyprus Avenue, Tengu, and the Telegraph Building, as well as recent appearances at Electric Picnic, Beyond the Pale, and Fuinneamh.
Her sets traverse the spectrum of dance music, from bass and breakbeat to progressive house. With a love for groovy basslines and dynamic textures, she creates a sound that is playful, bouncy, and brimming with momentum - the perfect ingredients to keep you bopping into the early hours.

Describing her mix, she says "I feel like this mix is a pretty good reflection of what I’ve been playing over the summer. Starting off with electro, breaks, and wobbly basslines (of course), cooling down for a moment into some spaced out dubs, before bringing the energy up again with some drums and heavy percussion to finish on a high. Featuring some of my favourites - Will Hofbauer, Pugilist, and Pépe, to name a few!'

Bass Prayer is an album built on vibration as intention. It explores prayer not as doctrine or demand, but as focused listening—a way of tuning the self through rhythm, resonance, and breath. In this work, bass is the anchor: low frequencies that steady the body, quiet the mind, and create space for reflection without words.

At its core, Bass Prayer treats sound as a grounding ritual. The prayer here is not spoken upward; it is felt inward. Each track invites the listener to slow down, sink into the pulse, and allow repetition to become presence. The album suggests that when the body finds rhythm, the mind follows—and clarity can emerge without explanation.

Sonically, the record centers on deep, controlled low-end paired with spacious atmospheres. Basslines roll patiently, never rushed, providing a steady foundation that feels both physical and calming. Percussion is minimal and intentional, emphasizing flow over impact. Synths and textures hover gently above the low frequencies, like light passing through water—soft, luminous, and restrained.



Symbolically, Bass Prayer speaks to alignment. To the act of returning to center when life feels fragmented. It acknowledges stress, noise, and overload without amplifying them. Instead, it offers a steady pulse—something reliable to hold onto. The album reframes prayer as an everyday practice of attention: listening closely, staying present, and choosing calm over chaos.



This album is not a message sent outward.
It is a signal received inward.

Music as grounding.

Music as a quiet return to center.

Bass Prayer is the sound of lowering the volume on the world—and discovering that clarity can arrive in the deepest frequencies, patiently, one pulse at a time.
