Spaceship is about being a cool nigga that handles his business.

Let me just say that I really love this song. Me and G. B. did this one at his Mom's house. I can't remember if he had the beat already, or if he made it on the spot, but either way he threw it on and asked me to come up with a hook. I did that, then I freestyled for a while and he chopped it down to what is now the first verse. After that, I wrote the second verse, got it recorded, then got to work on the artwork.

The cover is a whole story of it's own. My original idea was to jack a pic off of Instagram and put a rectangle over the little boy's eyes to cover his eyes. It's a really cool pic, btw, It's a young asian boy riding in the passenger seat of a very expensive car and he's trying to put his dad's gold teeth in. After I did it, I felt like i could do more, and the song we had made inspired me to draw a space helmet on the boy. once I did that, there was no way I wasn't gonna give him a whole suit and put him in a spaceship and put him in outer space; the perfectionist in me took over, and the final cover is the result.

$nowmane is about keeping a positive attitude and a healthy work ethic, regardless of what is going on around you.  It is also and homage to the short-lived alliance of Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy.  Pulling from both the trap and the suburbs, Snowmane is an observation of how everything fits together.

Grow was inspired by a lazy coworker. His bummy ways were getting on my nerves. I wrote Grow as a way to try and motivate myself to never be like that guy. I made this with the intention of inspiring everyone with aspirations to be great. Sometimes we get caught up in the monotony of improvement and end up slacking off in the name of wanting some excitement. It's a long game we're playing so I want us all to remember to go the distance.

If there is one thing that has held true throughout my life, it is "Niggas don't believe what they can't see. You gotta show em!"  Prove It the musical manifestation of this truth. I wrote Prove It as a part 2 to Grow. The theme of Grow was addressing poor performance and encouraging an effort towards greatness. Prove it is more about the application of that inspiration.  The message is basically "Just Do It."  I love listening to Prove It when I'm working out and when I need a reminder to stay focused.

Real Love is about that instant connection. Walking in a room, locking eyes with a stranger, and both of y'all knowing what it is and what it could be. I wrote Real Love on accident, but I'm really happy with how it turned out. 

(This song was also the catalyst to me improving my audio engineering skills. I had a lot of trouble getting the levels right, so after I finished I did some research and figured out how to properly use compressors, which made life a lot easier!)
