Really like the guitar work on this song. Mystery Rose

A cover of one of my favourites from the amazing Crystal Planet by Joe Satriani.

Originally I recorded live drums for this but ultimately I was unhappy with the sound. The tom in particular gave me trouble, and there was a few days experimenting with heads and tuning. 
I bought my drums during a low point in life and didn't even really notice the shockingly bad heads it had. Pinstripes and Ambassadors? Amirite Drummers? 
Audio to midi to the rescue. I get better sound and my performance is preserved. The shaker, though , that's 100% real!
Had much fun with this and put to use some techniques I learned recently.

The Encounter

Hey there Ya'll im Stu, a 30 something Guitar/ Vocal musician scraping by in a wee town near Manchester UK.
All my material is produced from the beat/drum sample upwards using a guitar/ keyboard & voice by myself, no commercial backing tracks used!
Aswell as striving to put my own composed/produced material to the public i am also producing the music of a good friend, Warrington's answer to 'Ry Cooder' the up and coming David Wardlaw aswell as playing the dirty guitars on a dozen or so of his tracks.
My own works are a mish mash of infuences that come together to create what listeners have described as 'Unique Guitar fuelled Pop/Rock' wilh elements of R&B, Gospel and country.
I also currently offer to produce original & secure music for you tube channels and web pages for silly low cost so anyone who may be interested please get in touch with your requirements.
