Lat week I had to say farewell to by best friend, Lord Bow, my feline master of 13 years. 

This was the first attempt at playing the piano since that day, and let's just say it was an emotional experience. I miss that little bugger.

This was a really fun project that was cut short with my move to Scandinavia. Rachel Garmory, Mark Tucker and myself used to meet up a few evenings each week, and experiment for the first time with Cubase VST 1.0 on a Pentium 166Mhz PC, Rachel's beautiful voice, Mark's brilliant bass, percussion and guitar, and me filling in the instrumentals. We also had a guest Sax musician, but I really can't remember his name at the moment.

I've been promising to get this online for years. I finally found a moldy minidisc, and here it is.

Probably my most stressful day session, as the gut holding the tailpiece snapped half way through. It was quickly replaced, but as tail gut takes 24-48 hours to fully settle, it was a nightmare compensating for the ever changing tuning. Sha Gov were a great band, and I felt honoured to be asked to impro over this track...

The weird clicks are embedded onto the tape... damage from a previous playing device or storage I guess.
