The first Musik For Autobahns was a delight: softly-softly ambient and subtle cuts from the likes of Move D, Suzanne Kraft, Roman Flügel and plenty more besides. Even amongst Rush Hour's bounty that year, it stood proudly out. A ripple of excitement went through BR HQ upon finding out Gerd Janson was lining up a second, with no shortage of marquee signings all coming correct with their A game.

A number of heads come together to translate these thoughts into sound - from Fort Romeau's Drive-esque "Seleno" joyride through to the propulsive "Melancholy" of Disco Nihilist. Perhaps none elicit as many feels as the enveloping opener from Leon Vynehall though.

As well as being a mesmeric mimic of accelerating down Bundesautobahn 5 at daybreak, "Midnight on Rainbow Road" got our Debut nod for three main reasons: firstly, it kicked off last year's sublime set from Gerd & Ata (so, about time); second, it's a welcome return for Mr Vynehall after a richly deserved breakout year; third, dude's got previous with N64 titling. And that's something we can all get behind.

In love with Jazz and everything it gave birth to, Paul Cut seeks to maintain a long-standing tradition by merging it with House music. Whether by sampling tracks in the studio or playing keyboards on stage, his sole purpose is the Groove.
Paul Cut had his two very first releases on parisian labels : The Joy EP with Ondulé Recordings, held by Joss Moog and Around7, and Serious Intentions EP as keyboardist for the D.ko Records' live band, Secret Value Orchestra.
Popcorn began its vinyl releases four years ago with dj and producer Lowris. New comer at that time, he has since then become famous resident of Concrete Paris Parties and a recognized producer. It is therefore naturally that the 10 th release will be devoted to a newcomer, the young and talented Paul Cut and his Basement Jam EP.

The colors are stunning. In a single view, I see looking out at the edge of the earth, all the colors of the prism. Red at the horizon, blends to orange and yellow, followed by a thin white line, then light blue, gradually turning to dark blue, then black as the vastness of space engulfs the surroundings. As I looked upon our home rock, I saw many natural features. I witnessed a large river meandering slowly along for miles, passing from one country to another without stopping or hesitation.
