Disco Knights Podcast #1 September's Sacred Songs

Following their recent success on Gorgon City’s REALM Records, PAX are back on ABODE with their long overdue third EP; ‘Pass The Bottle’. Since exploding onto the scene, House and Techno duo PAX have made a name for themselves with releases on well-established labels Toolroom, Sola, elrow and Kaluki which received support from AAA DJ’s; Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, Marco Carola and Solardo. Following on from the ‘Just Touch’ EP which was a firm favourite with Radio 1’s Danny Howard, MistaJam and Annie Mac, ‘Pass The Bottle’ delivers mesmerising vocals throughout, dubbed out transitions which are underpinned by sharp percussion and a pulsating low-end. ‘Make Me Feel’ follows suit with crisp percussion, crunchy snares, a hypnotic bassline and mesmerizing looped vox closing out the EP in true style.

In the last couple of years, London based DJ and producer, Iglesias, has cemented his place as one of the Top 100 best-selling Tech House artists and a future heavyweight on the scene. In a short space of time he’s had music released on respected labels including VIVa MUSiC, Sola, Repopulate Mars, Solid Grooves and Kaluki. His original productions have subsequently gone on to receive widespread praise and support from some of the industry’s biggest artists including Steve Lawler, Latmun, Marco Carola, Solardo and Detlef. Welcoming him to the Nothing Else Matters family, his debut single; ‘Don’t Ya’, encompasses his signature sound; drawing on inspiration from Italian rolling grooves infused with classic disco elements and offering effervescent percussive patterns, infectious vocals and a rolling, sultry bassline layered with pulsating low-ends.
