Pre-rave jitters had set in; her stomach was doing somersaults and her legs felt like jelly. These feelings were fuelled by excitement and anticipation, but she still had no idea what to expect of the evening, it was all completely new to her. Friends had told her about the wonders of these underground parties but she really had to see it for herself, at the moment it felt like an imaginary utopia, a place too perfect to actually exist...

Swedish producers Viktor and Henrik are the minds behind Elfenberg. Having released music on the likes of Bordello A Parigi, Wrong Era, Trampoliner and Rotten City Records, to name a few, the pair now take their creations to Barcelona's Playground Records for A Cow Called Belle. Harking back to the rave and acid house sounds of the early 90s, the three original cuts marry rolling grooves and squelchy, driving synth lines, which are pushed further into trance-inducing territory by Iñigo Vontier and Juan MacLean who take care of the remixes.

Karla Lynch is a DJ based in Paris and she is a member of Human Magic Records. Her stage name refers to the eponymous filmmaker and his strange and dreamlike art.

In her sets, expect a concoction of Indie Dance with tribal rhythms and Dark Disco mixing synths and rock sonorities. At nightfall, she explores darker paths with EBM and Trance influences. At the crossroads of Mexico and Berlin, she takes her audience on a psychedelic and dancing journey.

She is set to release her first track this year and will be part of the famous Marvellous Island festival line-up taking place in May 2023.

Bardamu - Strange People

Silesian-born Solowinski (a.k.a. DJ None / N.One) stepped onto the scene in the 90s at the young age of 16, playing in Polish hardcore/punk bands such as Against All Odds, Out Of Control and ConfrontAction. A few years later, he fell in love with the punk spirit of rave music and started spinning records and organising dance parties. From the start, he was an active member of several significant Polish music collectives, including Minimalna Prawda, Neotronika, and the drum and bass group Neuropunks. Each of these collectives has a beautiful story, but before them, there was another era for him—80s Post Punk, Cold Wave, Synth Pop, EBM. This is a story he eagerly revisits, exploring the dark corners of contemporary dance electronic music. Currently, he runs the label POTOP Records along with the duo Penera.
