There is always a curious tie between the fall and the creation - Taking this risk is the condition of there being life. You see, for all life is an act of faith and an act of gamble. The moment you take a step, you do so on an act of faith because you don't really know that the floor's not going to give under your feet. 

The moment you take a journey, what an act of faith. The moment that you enter into any kind of human undertaking in a relationship, what an act of faith. See, you've given yourself up. But this is the most powerful thing that can be done - Love is an act of surrender to another person - Total abandonment.

Spanish producer, DJ and one half of Jeff Mental; Pastor In Vegas is a seasoned musician, having spent time in many bands.  It was in 2013 when his career gained momentum, providing an alternative concept to electronic music. 

His influences come from world music, underground house, the purest grooves merging with a touch of techno, but meanwhile and above all, maintaining an underground and elegant vibe.

We are delighted to be showcasing the unreleased track from Pastor in Vegas;  "The Good Rapaza", which is forthcoming on Melomana Records. On the EP there are 3 original tracks and 2 remixes by Gameboyz (Spain) and Roswell brothers (Mexico).

Alex Wastnidge, better known as From Beyond, is a music producer and DJ based in Oslo, Norway. Since 2018, he has been prolific in building an array of widely praised solo releases, starting with an EP via the legendary Paper Recordings, and more recently seeing his output grace the back catalogues of Nein Records, Golden Soul, Boîte Music, Discotheque Credits, and Paisley Dark Records.

Across both his original productions and remix work, Wastnidge has crafted a distinctive blend of acidic, spaced-out Nu Disco. His style primarily takes cues from 1980s Electro Funk, Italo Disco and Synthpop, but at the same time embodies a forward-thinking approach, borrowing and building upon the innovations of intervening eras in the process.

Despite still being a relatively new name, Wastnidge’s releases as From Beyond have taken little time to win plaudits from some of dance music’s most respected figures, among them Justin Robertson, Jerry Bouthier and Sean Johnston, as well as publications on Mixmag and Le Visiteur, for instance.
