Alex Delmar is an underground DJ from Montreal, mixing House and Techno since 2007. He started DJing at bars and private events in downtown Montreal (Twins, Istori, L’Ambroisie) for about 7 years.

In 2014, he completed the Audio Production program at the specialized school Musitechnic. As professional practice he recorded and mastered live DJ sets at Piknic Electronic and Igloofest as well as co-producing Deep House tracks under FeelGood Productions.

He headlined electronic music events at a variety of venues in Guatemala and Costa Rica between 2015 and 2019, and held a few residencies (Rustic Bar, Maya Lounge, Tropicana Hostel - Sunset Sessions, 1001 Noches).

In 2018 he became a founding member of @underground_kollektiv, an international collective of DJs based in the UK who produce live events and label releases and host an online radio station. He is looking forward to returning to production under UDGK Records and performing at the upcoming Amsterdam Dance Event 2022 in October with the collective.

LUISMA FERRERA, born in Valverde de Leganés (Spain) and living in Seville (Spain), since he was a child he has been a lover of electronic music and has shared his usual work with what was a hobby for him. After catching up with DJ Mag Australia for a Q&A in their Local Artist feature series (http://vic.djmag.com.au/blog/2014/04/02/spotlight-j-slyde/) I was also lucky enough to be invited to contribute to their homegrown podcast series. Feeling pretty honored, and motivated by some of the other fantastic podcasts in the series, I really wanted to offer up something special. I spent a good few months amassing all of the music, then a further month piecing it all together, going to extra lengths in cutting up and reassembling a handful of the tracks, along with heaps of looping and sampling to help make things as cohesive as possible. It travels through various styles, centering around a housey 4/4 beat with hints of prog and tech peppered about. Loosely attempting to convey the breaking up of a relationship, it starts out with a hint of melancholy and slowly progresses into a more upbeat, happier vibe – ebbing and flowing just as one would throughout a breakup. I’ve based it around a few vocal pieces that all follow the theme in an attempt to provide somewhat of a loose narrative. Anyway, I very much hope it resonates well with you all!
