After years performing under the alias, SNOWMASS, Ian has removed the helmet and leveled up his sound.  He has made a name for himself playing huge festivals such as Electric Forest, Lost Lands, Spring Awakening, Camp Bisco, Global Dance Festival and more.  In 2020 Ian was ready to unveil his new name and brand, and as the pandemic hit he took the opportunity to focus on his music and style. “Eyes Closed” kick starts the EP in full force with the heaviest of bass growls and male vocals, taking no hesitation in enveloping the listener in this new sound and transporting them into a huge festival stage.  “Revelation” pulls back and steadily brings in nostalgic melodies, building a beautiful atmosphere and tension into a deep heavy drop rattling speakers while keeping the same melodies and sound.  “Above The Clouds” closes the EP with a perfect blend of both sides shown in the previous tracks, mind-melting bass with divine melodies in a beautiful recap of this new sound.

Matt here. So stoked to finally release this body of music to you. I hope it lets you feel things that you need to feel and work through whatever. life's a journey and i'm thankful you choose to take a part of me along with you on it

heres some word vomit about VLV...

At its conception as an idea, Viva La Vibrant was meant to be a debut album with the core idea being to live fully, no matter the emotion. I went through dozens of ideas, eventually landing on a dozen or so tracks that I thought could be a full album. However, by the end of it, it just didn't feel right as a full length album. So I revisited the album and picked out 4 tracks that I thought really fit the vibe of the core idea. Each track is emotionally charged and heavy, but with their own nuance. "Love Me" is a kind of heartbroken, melancholy banger. "Coliseum" is just a straight up get lost in the sauce kind of banger. "Truth" is the kind of blissful melt into the vibes kind of banger, and then to top it all of, "Viva La Vibrant!" is the climax, overly euphoric kind of banger. 

I hope that listeners can find something in the album that they really resonate with. Please let me know if you do!
