this was composed for the compo commemorating puke7's 40th birthday

0:00 - in the tallest tower of an abandoned keep... 

0:05 - the baron, an alchemist of some renown, toils away on a potion that, if successful, will extend his lifespan by decades. 

0:50 - drawn back to a time where dcpm and expansion chips were unheard of, the baron recalls his youth, and his earliest experiments in alchemy (and video games) 

1:20 - the essence of youth, extracted from these memories, causes the potion to bubble vigorously for a moment. 

1:32 - the baron recalls his years as a young adult. young aristocrats are required to learn ballroom dancing. 

1:57 - a duet of sorts! perhaps a dance shared with someone special? 

2:13 - back to the task at hand. the potion smells slightly of spring flowers, once the essence of love is extracted and mixed in 

2:54 - vivid memories of a decade-long war, of the baron's own devising. many have fought valiantly on the fields of battle. 

3:33 - the essence of strength, extracted from memories of friendly competition, completes the potion. exhausted, the baron retires to his chambers. will the philtre work as intended?
