Check out rising techno artist Joshua Calleja's newest EP "Saint of Revenge" premiere on 6AM. Hailing from the Mediterranean island nation of Malta, Calleja is certainly repping the small, but local scene of techno artists putting their mark on the global stage. Producing & performing since he was 14 years old, Calleja's productions captivate with a groovy and deep sound combined with influences from certain tech house and minimal sub genres. 

Calleja enjoys creating a unique mixture of minimalism and club techno, meaning his audience is far-reaching. He has released on labels such as Innocent Music, Patent Skillz, Panterre Musique, Egothermia, Tentacles Recordings, HardCutz, Toowls, Roovestar, and now, Northern Parallels.

Calleja's hypnotic techno track "Fear of Time" gets a somber remix from Gabriella Vergilov, while the titular track "Saint of Revenge" gets an upbeat dancefloor treatment from Mike Derer.

Los mitos y las leyendas han servido como herramienta de arraigamiento cultural para los pueblos latinoamericanos, evocan la sabiduría ancestral de los viejos de la aldea, que reunían pequeños grupos de niños para cautivarles con las historias y que sirvieran como lineamiento para el desarrollo y crecimiento de sus culturas. En Illegal Alien Records, hemos decidido rendir un homenaje a las historias populares mexicanas que en forma de mitos y leyendas han logrado trascender a través de generaciones y generaciones. Hemos invitado a participar por primera vez a artistas mexicanos del más alto nivel, quienes se han encargado de musicalizar estas pequeñas gotas de agua cristalina de las que se compone el gigantesco océano cultural del que estamos compuestos. A nivel imagen hemos trabajado en la representación y homenaje al arte huichol que representa la Mexicanidad más pura y real, lejos de nacionalismos pero con la intención de la difusión del arte y cultura de una región sagrada como la Mexicana.
Ante el grandioso trabajo gráfico y musical, decidimos realizar un tiraje limitado, edición especial en formato Cassette y Digital, que estará disponible en tiendas el día Viernes 25 de Septiembre del 2020.


Myths and legends have served as a tool of cultural roots for Latin American peoples, they evoke the ancestral wisdom of the old men of in village, who gathered small groups of children to captivate them with the stories and that served as guidelines for the development and growth of their cultures. In illegal alien, we have decided to pay homage to popular Mexican stories that in the form of myths and legends have managed to transcend through generations and generations. We have invited Mexican artists of at highest level to participate for the first time, who have been in charge of musicalizing these small drops of crystalline water that make up the gigantic cultural ocean of which we are composed. At the image level, we have worked on the representation and tribute to Huichol art that represents the purest and most real Mexicanity, far from nationalisms but with the intention of disseminating the art and culture of a sacred region like Mexico.
Given to the great graphic and musical work, we decided to make a limited run of high quality Cassette Edition and Digital format, which will be available in stores on Friday, September 25th of 2020.

FS Bart select tracks for their DJ sets from trippy Acid to brute Industrial. As producers FS Bart are welding raw, dystopic and minimalistic materials to dark athmospheric stompers. FS Bart the proud founders, members and innovators of 12 o’Clock.

After previously contributing a track for the Batch Plant mini compilation series, Swiss duo FS Bart channel their dystopian and raw sound appeal for their first full EP on @made-of-concrete.

'Subjective Truth' kicks off proceedings with a hollowed-out, serrated pad on top of a straightforward bassline, creating a buzz of electricity. 'Self Deception' follows in the same vein, but with an added addictive swing, sitting somewhere between an utilitarian track and a dancefloor heater. 'Simulation And Imagination' is an introspective dubby exploration dancing around spaced out pads and industrial loops. The Reason Y teams up with Chris Hirose for the remix, turning track into yet another club weapon, underlining the integrated focus of the release.

Having just delivered ‘Gathering Generations’, a compilation marking its 50th release, @skryptom-records has prepared this new year with a nice plan: a release each month by one of their core artists or newcomers.

Here they present the first album by Dyspal, a young duo from Toulouse, France. Skryptöm’s label head Antoine Husson aka Electric Rescue met Jules and Jordan at a party in Berlin and subsequently released their first EP “Broken Lullaby” in 2019.

They now step up to release their first album, thirteen varied tracks recorded over the past five years and carefully selected to produce a wonderful electronic journey called ‘Lore’. The duo skillfully show their love for dark dancefloors mixing powerful techno, elegant breakbeats, and hints of drum’n’bass.

Hoping for better days and to showcase their live act, here is the sound of Dyspal!
