Energetic rhythms and crispy beats tantalise the ears in a 5 track work of oldschool infused house pleasure. 3 unique originals from Du Chatinier are combined with remixes from the rising stars and individual talents of Wouter de Moor and Echonomist for this mesmerising summer house EP.

Rising star of the international scene, dutch born DJ and Producer Wouter de Moor provides remix duties for the closing track of the EP. Wouter's rework of 'Arizona' is modern and marvelling bearing little resemblance to the original but equally as satisfying. A heavenly melody is used to complement an electronic organ that has been given a generous helping of stereo delay, allowing it to float in and out of the mix. Wouter's finale ensures that summer vibes flow from start to finish with no track out of place in the midday sun.

‘Raw’ returns with the long awaited remixes of Kaiserdisco's 'Jet Stream', a summer smasher spun by almost every key DJ this summer and a key track in the sets of Solomun, Marco Carola, Tensnake or Adam Beyer.

Riding the pulses with perfect balance are the Brazilian connection Christian Smith and Wehbba, whose remix is a svelte classic of layers and loops, minimalism and maximums.

Diynamic’s star man H.O.S.H. goes Euro-skeletal, sharpening the original’s mechanoid riff to ricochet around the lab before bringing in an ear-piercing breakdown, and then embarking on a fuller, more celebratory vibe with his ‘Melodrama mix’.

The Junkies are tasked with taking ‘Ten Commandments’ to Toronto and give expert insight into cyclical techno, simultaneously sweeping the underground and sending down lightning bolts from up high.

And so, a little short of our third birthday here at Selador, it feels like we’ve finally made it. No longer pretenders to the throne, we are now like a proper, authentic, fully fledged record label as we reach the holy grail of our very first vinyl release. A momentous occasion for sure. You can speak to “our people” from now on ;-)

Like all good ‘rights of passage/coming of age’ stories, it’s been some time in the making. As you can imagine, a milestone of this importance was not to be taken likely and so we decided to call upon one of our star players, Sir Robert Of Babicz to take the leading role. 

The signing of these two original tracks, ‘Red’ & ‘Green’ was something of a coup as several other labels also fought for their attention but we like to think common sense prevailed as the big man bestowed upon us the honour of their custody. We were proud as the proverbial punch. 

Robert is also aided and abetted here by two of Western Europe’s brightest electronic music lights, the 8 Bit boss, Gorge and the stylish French duo, Villanova who in turn add their own spice to proceedings. It’s a very special release all round. One to cherish.

The last 3 years in Cristoph career were really good: releases on labels like Knee Deep In Sound, Bedrock, Truesoul, Last Night On Earth… Now is time for his debut release on the kitties label with The Sign EP. The lead track has an awesome vocal by Forrest, the main element on the remixes: Andre Hommen delivers an epic and introspective track of classy tech-house and SBTH a delicate and electronic remix. Last but not least, “Lost Witness” shows the powerful and melodic face of the Newcastle’s artist.
