Asturian sci fi techno maker Bebhionn comes back home with this forcefully Ep called Color Force EP.

His sound is now harsher and heavier, not many bleeps or galactic stuff and more distortion, percussive elements and physical force in the recipe.

First cut Color Force starts with asymmetrical elastic sequences over a dark kick, until 909 hats start to groove on top while the main sequence goes crazy and mutates constantly.

Second exercise Draconis flows in similar parameters, wisely distorted components, solid bass drum and shuffled percussive elements.

Electrostatic goes into deeper territories, in a more classic detroitish approach, with marimba like sequences and non distorted components.

Closing the release, Signal returns to a rugged sound palette, dirtying the sound and introducing a flanged main synth line that defines the tracks’ idiosyncrasy.

Mote-Evolver favourite and Non Series label head Psyk returns to Luke Slater's label alongside fellow returnee Orbe, known for his eponymous techno community, making for a top-tier duo made up of Spanish scene frontmen exploring the deeper end of techno. 'Atonal' is hypnotic, multi-functional, and perfect for the record bags of any artist interested in spinning a journey.

The title track of Psyk & Orbe's 'Atonal' on Luke Slater's Mote-Evolver features clever, ever-progressing arrangements and mechanical rhythm shot through with futuristic bleep. Its dub-like atmospheres are then followed by 'Tunnel Diode', which sees the pair implement raw, wonky soundwaves swirling around delicate drum patterns.

The B-side starts with 'Superconductor', an electrifying trip boasting rapid-fire sequences and reversed drum shots sitting in between its steady beat, before 'Maths' closes the record via a slow-burning groove and mysterious, otherworldly synth textures.

Based in Stockholm/Sweden, Lakej [ Lækeɪ ] emerges from a long heritage of Swedish techno. After many years of explorations to refine his sound, he debuted on Adriana Lopez label Grey Report with the solo EP Structural Cohesion.

This debut presented a theme that would guide not only his sound but also his concepts and titles to this current date.

With a huge love for details and rhythmic structures his music has evolved into an introspective, futuristic and yet timeless sound. With intricate textures, atmospheres and deep driving rhythms his music invites you to be swept away into hypnotic states, both in comfort of your own listening space as well as on the dance floor.

Since the debut his output has been steady on well established labels such as Semantica, NON Series, Faut Section, Nachtstrom Schallplatten and Soma.

Kostas aka @againstmesc is a greek Berlin-based DJ, Producer & co-founder of SOCIETY 3000 and core member of USM Recordings.

The project “AgainstMe” started back in 2017 on his home island Lesvos, Greece and it stands for the continuous fight with ourselves to align our inner voice with our soul and beliefs.

In 2014, at the age of 16 years old, he first discovered his passion for DJing and producing and he did his first steps into the music industry under a different alias in a wider range of electronic music. His music has been released on different labels around the world, but as he was at a very young age, he was still discovering his self and what style of music expresses him the most.

The project “AgainstMe” came to life two years later after his first Rave / Techno parties in Lesvos, Greece.  For him at that point, techno music was something completely new, uniting and revolutionary which was going against everything that he had experienced before. The distorted melodies and the heavy drum patterns along with the ritualistic vibe of these parties made him immediately fall in love with everything around this sound and what it stands for.
 
Since then, his music got released on different record labels around the world. Some of the most important releases during the last years were, his album “Synopsis” in Subsist, “Tension Seeker” in Warok and "Defend" In VOXNOX.

He already enjoyed support from artists like Dax J, DVS1, Rodhad, K-Hand, Mikael Delta, Richie Hawtin, Temudo, Kanding Ray and many more.

For him, the absolute goal of a DJ  is to connect with the crowd and build a unique moment together. So his sound could be characterized as multidimensional, energetic and storytelling. Some of the venues/parties he performed at are RSO, Corsica Studios, QRECLAIM, Astron Bar.

Currently, he is experimenting a lot with Modular Systems and unorthodox techniques in his studio in Berlin.
