'Face Value' in collaboration with Kowa comes in two versions, which I guess kind of ironically means you can't actually take it at face value. In any case, the original cut has absolutely soaring epic strings and a filtered break that steps along while a variety of ever more disgusting subby tones tear the arse out of your bassbins, and the remix from previous-InHabit-alumnus Azrah takes a more low-slung groove-based approach and uses the negative space to add a further layer of percussitivity.

Very excited, proud and a little nervous to announce my debut EP on Critical Music. After 16 years of running the label i thought it was time i released a body of work of my own. Since signing with V Recordings in 2015, the São Paulo due Alibi have continued to delivered time and time again. The duos highly anticipated debut album ’Said & Done’ released at the tail end of 2018 which was their most complete statement of their musical vision to date, gaining support from the drum and bass scene giants. Alibi then went on to guest on BBC Radio 1, and stood at the forefront of the ’25 Years Of V Recordings’ tour, solidifying themselves as one of the labels top names.

Their first release after the album comes in the form of the ’Catalyst EP’, a four track release which shows Alibi experimenting with their harder, more dance-floor focused side, with ‘Sorrow’ as an additional nod to ‘Said & Done’. This EP will sure be the driving force of their summer sets, where they’ll be playing at a number of prestigious club nights and festivals such as the ‘Future’ album launch and Glastonbury.

It has been almost two years since Strictly Deep DNB released it's last various artists EP called 'Reflection' and since then has released a slew of tracks. While reflecting upon these past years, we felt that it was time for another go and are releasing the result of that today in the form of our second various artists EP called 'Perspective'! We are very happy to bring you this varied selection of tracks ranging from the melodic deep end of liquid to the realms of techy shoe throwers. We are very proud of this and hope you enjoy it as much as us!
