The next release on Black Seven Music comes courtesy of Romanian artist Cosmin Horatiu, enlisting GruuvElement's and Drewy on remix duties for his ‘Yeyo’ EP.

Following a slew of successful releases on highly regarded underground imprints, the prolific Romanian artist makes his full debut on Black Seven Music with two original cuts and a subsequent pair of remixes for the title track - from the highly acclaimed GruuvElement's and Ibiza resident, Drewy.

Opening the release, ‘Yeyo’ kicks hard with robust drum work and punchy momentum. Away from the rhythmic rattle of its tonal percussive elements, the track showcases a catchy rolling bassline and ghetto vocal samples - interjected by subtle rising synths in places.

‘No Diggity’ comes next, with high-tempo hat grooves and shakers driving the track. Focusing on intricately layered higher frequency melodies, its hypnotic toggling energy will have your head rolling along with it.

GruuvElement's remix of ‘Yeyo’ follows, melding stripped back deep tech with subtle tribal and Latin flavours. An archetypal terrace roller, focusing on an array of undulating rhythmic factors and delicate melodics.

Drewy’s remix of ‘Yeyo’ brings the release to a close, with a refreshing twist. Showcasing uplifting melodies and lighter elements, it’s a feel-good dancefloor heater with a heavy bottom.

Pakate ends the year with the return of a familiar face, Ssero. The Barcelona-based young gun has been under our radar for a while now - and his debut track on this year's annual Miami VA was a statement to his sound: groovy, infectious, bouncy and meticulously crafted. His comeback EP is no exception. After meeting in the Marina studios ensemble with the boss Jean Pierre - who's now set up his new basement in the Catalan's capital - he realized it was about time for a follow-up. The Spaniard is now about to drop "Sateo" EP, a two-tracker EP in line with the label's always innovative and fresh sound, which also comes packed with a remix by a real Spanish veteran in Hector Couto, who takes the lead track to a whole new heavy-hitting groovier level with fat drums and heavy basslines.
