Dystopia

Strange and amazing at the same time how that subtle gut wrenching groove, refined in Romania’s undergrounds, can become a common language for so many electronic genres. https://soundcloud.com/rhom-omit has strong connections with Serialism Records and spent quite a lot of years the undergrounds of the Far East. Back in Berlin, he played at Golden Gate Berlin in late October 2025 and decided to publish a 3 hours recording, filled with gems from the wider spectrum of house & techno, interlaced with dub, minimal and Chicago seeds. Después de un par de años con la música en pausa, regreso con un álbum que inicie la composición a finales del 2025 y principios del 2026, inspirado por un viaje realizado por la península de Baja California, un viaje donde el paisajismo cobraba una mística y aura muy potente. Me adentre en un proceso creativo donde trabaje con texturas a partir de grabaciones de campo de este viaje; algunas canciones se acercan al IDM, ambient y glitch, otras con estructuras rítmicas mas definidas hacia el leftfield house. La intención principal de este trabajo es de escucharse de principio a fin, ya que es una montaña rusa de cambios de tiempo, texturas y sensaciones.

Raver at heart and a groove explorer by passion, Gustavo Hernandez, born and based in Chihuahua, Mexico, is a self-taught DJ and producer who has been performing at underground raves and local clubs since 2008.

The concept behind "Subthink" aims to evoke the mystical and introspective rituals that have existed since ancient times, where tribal humans paid tribute to existence. One of our most primitive practices.

In the beginning, his musical influences were primarily rooted in psychedelic trance, exploring sub-genres such as Twilight, Forest, Hi-tech, and Trance. Over time, he gradually evolved into Progressive trance, Progressive techno, and Minimal techno.

As he matured musically and refined his taste in electronic dance music, he discovered the Minimal/micro house and Deep tech scene, which is predominantly developed in Eastern Europe, and fell in love with it.

Influenced by this whole new culture, he evolved into a new musical storytelling framework, blending different genres he has been exploring over time.
