“Ceremony”, out 22nd July, is the third single from Anchorsong’s ‘Ceremonial’ LP (released in January), which saw the London-based Japanese producer gaining huge acclaim for his concoction of catchy melodic phrasing, unique beats and vintage African influences. Following the recent BBC 6Music Playlisted “Expo” single, “Ceremony” highlights another key track from the album alongside four new remixes from Foreign Skin, Madcap, sUb_modU and Anchorsong himself.

Italian producer and multi-instrumentalist who lives shuttling between Berlin and his hometown Aosta, in Italy.
sUb_modU released his debut EP "Circles" on BBE on 2014, followed by a self-released single in 2018. Since 2020 with the Tru Thoughts label he released the EP "Pidgin Synths" and his debut album "Descent To The Centre" released on September 17, 2021.

Following on from “Pidgin Synths EP”, a releases that entangled a homage to afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti with synth-heavy original material, sUb_modU has amassed an impressive list of tastemaker support through his unique reinterpretations, from the likes of Gilles Peterson (BBC 6Music), Ross Allen (NTS) and Virgil Abloh (Off White). Alongside the release of his debut album is a special edition, double A side single, 7” featuring an exclusive 45 Centre Edit of the iconic “Expensive Shit” paired with a sUb_modU original “RAM Generation”.
