Create Your Own Heaven' Album Started in 2022, the album spans 121 to 138 BPM, featuring 7 tracks and almost an hour of music. It blends Minimal/Deep Tech, Trance, Deep House, and House Music. Each track flows into the next, both in intensity and storytelling. 

01 - The Prologue [121 BPM]: This track posed a challenge for us at the label to categorize within a specific genre. Spanning over 11 minutes, 'The Prologue' opens the album, blending Deep House synths with a continuous groove characteristic of the Rominimal genre. The track's background features nature sounds recorded during a trip to the Serra Gaúcha. 

02 - Listen Me [123 BPM]: The lyrics of this track were written by me, reflecting a phase of my life. It's a Deep House track with House elements, and it's definitely worth paying attention to the vocals. 

03 - Ladies & Gentlemen [125 BPM]: Created using a sample from an interview where Elton John is the interviewee and Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) is the interviewer. Its essence lies in House, complemented by a massive bassline. 

04 - Dab Boy [127 BPM]: Also known as 'Ping,' this is a minimal track featuring floating synths that circulate in a stereo atmosphere, much like a ping pong ball. It also includes a hypnotic break with heavy resonance because. why not? This track leans towards Rominimal. 

05 - 24h Lockdown [129 BPM]: The vocal sample is from a scene in the movie Training Day featuring Denzel Washington during a heated discussion. It's a Deep Tech track with a unique groove. 

06 - No Turning Back Now [131 BPM]: A Deep Tech track with spacious synths and a continuous bassline. Its background also incorporates sounds captured by the producer. 

07 - I Think It's the End [138 BPM]: The final track of the album, completed this year (2025). 

The album's journey began in 2022 and is now ready. This track features Trance elements and deep acidic sounds.

aMo (um) presents Just Jazz EP — a five-track excursion that blurs the lines between groove, experimentation, and floor-focused precision. It’s not a single lane, but a set of parallel journeys designed for selectors who like to shift moods without losing direction.

Just Jazz opens with a house-driven cut with warm swing and fluid motion. Don’t Speak raises tension with a builder’s mindset, laying foundations for the perfect mix transition. Good Morning leans into the afterglow — hazy textures and dreamlike momentum for that “other dimension” vibe. Snatch snaps things back with a dense, kinetic framework — a restless piece of energy architecture. Wompa closes the cycle in tripped-out mode, its low-end pull and atmospheric layering creating a wide, hypnotic space. A release crafted for DJs who prefer storytelling over straight lines.

MixCult Radio Podcast # 172 Lola Palmer - Salt & Water (2016)

The talented duo of Guri and Eider released the Black Hole single last year, earning the position of one of the most successful tracks of the Sub_Urban discography, and now the label is releasing new remixes of the track for 2016. The first of which features Carlos Sanchez's deep tech re-invention, with dubby influences and chopped up vocal samples, the remix adds a welcomed energy to the track that will be played in the clubs all summer. On the Round Shaped Triangles version, an amazing bassline takes the center of the stage, with a vocal loop of the hook, backed by some filtered synth stabs and a series of special effects. A powerful high hat makes it's entrance halfway through, with funky guitars and shuffled snare fills being valuable players in the act as well. If we thought the original couldn't be topped we might have been proven wrong by this new group's remix, which incidentally adds a third member to the duo of Guri & Eider (the brother of Guri named Pedro.) For good measure, the original is also included, not losing any quality over the last year, making the package a must have for any fans of deep house.

This week we are joined by Rick Van Santen, owner of the ever growing Deep Grooves brand. Residing in The Netherlands, he is hugely inspired by the Dutch house scene with his favourite artists being Prunk, Chris Stussy, Artmann and ANOTR but he does keep an eye on the London scene through artists such as Rossi.

His project, Deep Grooves, is a platform for artists (big and small) to not only perform but to discover new and exciting music whilst still keeping a high level of content through premieres and podcasts. Keeping it strictly deep house, Deep Grooves really are the creme de la creme of brands for us at The Cake Shop.
