It was a new sound.

The survivors turned their weary heads towards the Sapling, which sprang forth from the planter and glowed with flashes of vibrant purple.

Each pulse of energy seemed to mimic the now-faded song of the Sound waves Tree, but it was...different.

New.

Revitalized.

The white masks of his people waved in unity.

Purpie turned his eyes upwards, following a beam of purple energy that erupted from the Sapling. Hundreds of brilliant stars overhead began to shake, and one by one, they fell from the sky.
