Soulvent Records return to the scene with their 12th release to date. This one is from the latest addition to the ever-expanding family - talented young duo Tom Alston & Jonathan Campbell, better known as GLXY.
The single opens with the epic A side ‘Small Talk’ - a soulful, liquid masterpiece, dabbling in the darker side of the genre. The intro brings luscious piano chords and a soothing vocal line, quickly followed by clean, cutting percussion to pre empt a deep & almost glitch inspired bassline on the drop.
The B side ‘Trinity’ follows with similar vibes to the title track. With a choppy, melodious vocal sample & dark bass grooves, ‘Trinity’ touches on the rougher edges of the Soulvent sound.
The 2 tracks give a pretty clear idea of what these guys are about - a truly harmonious medium between light, fluffy liquid and dark, glitchy tech. GLXY are definitely ones to watch out for.

Hibernating against an already impressively tight discography, Program has been biding its time in unleashing this next release. 
With some of the genre’s most technically adept artists, the track-listing alone is enough to grab your attention. There is a high calibre of production standard present throughout the LP, audible from start to finish. 
Whether you become submerged by Freek’s rolling ‘Enamoured’, accompanied by the pristine vocals of Pia Thaleia, or captured by the apocalyptic sounds of Slang Banger’s ‘Slaughter House’, every taste is catered for. Program sets aside its older sister label Ram and creates a breathing space, allowing it to grow. The label is a heavyweight in its own right; this album is only reaffirms that fact. 
And such a range of versatility comes with names both old and new. L 33 returns to the imprint, with clashing bass conundrum ‘Manipulate’. Gerra & Stone also make an anticipated reappearance; their contribution ‘Po’rdosol’ is a steppy riddim constructed through a medley of beats and sliced up sample. 
But relative newcomer Elliott Mac uses the LP as a pedestal for another stellar production. The budding artist flexes his capabilities across the soundscape of ‘Filter City’, delicately composed yet highly intricate. It’s demonstrative of Program’s dedication to emerging artists, sifting through cyberspace to showcase some of the best acts the underground has to offer. 
So now it’s time to prepare your subs and plug in your speakers – Program have made a welcome return, further solidifying their position as leading tastemakers with a quality ensured guarantee. It’s once again, time to get with the Program!

To celebrate what they consider to be their strongest year to date, Lifestyle deliver with their first ever Annual release to see off the remarkable year they've had. Lifestyle Annual 2017 features a compilation of the best tracks from the last 12 months, alongside 8 brand new pieces from a range of fresh to existing artists to really top it off.

''After attending this years Boomtown, and meeting up with Volatile Cycle and Barbarix backstage at the Scrap Yard, we got chatting about drum and bass and life and then put in place plans for these lads to get involved with the label. To kick their tenture off, we received an absolute belter from the production quartet that is Volatile Cycle, Barbarix and Blockdodger. It's safe to say 'Manifest' kills it from the outfit that put together the official Boomtown anthem. We're incredibly stoked to have this lot on-board, watch out for more from them soon.

Next up our German mates Instinkt are back for more on Lifestyle, with a track you'd expect only of this powerhouse duo. 'Conan' is big, bad and schmutzig. Following on and keeping it international, from New Zealand we have the Kiwi's Obeisant and Victim with their first release on the label, providing us with the dangerously large ‘6 Months’. Then to wrap up this sampler, there’s the slick liquid roller 'Born In November' from Slovak and German production trio Humanon, another debut on Lifestyle!
