Coming off his ground breaking debut release 'We Return' back in April 2024 which saw Melysma hit his first ever number 1 spot over on Beatport the sensational London producer has been on a mission, that mission was to completely takeover the underground scene. And from what we can observe over the last 9 months is that he is well and truly doing so.

Melysma is hands down one of the most exciting prospects within the scene, already being picked up by the likes of RAM, Sofa Sound and Symmetry Recordings there's no wonder why he is absolutely crushing the game with his immaculate style of production. Having releases on Engage Audio and another single track feature on the Yamatai imprint have all been well received, gaining an unfathomable amount of attention to his music. Heavy and chaotic drum patterns mixed in with lots of groove and soul followed by some of the most outlandish bass design to finish it all off. I mean what else could you want?

As you can tell we love Alex's work, he embodies the labels sound to the T.

This producer has no celling and with every release and demo he improves more and more, that's why we are so excited to bring you his first solo project on the label 'Disguise / War Business'!

A veteran within the electronic music scene with experience spanning over a decade, someone who has been a prominent figure pushing the 140/dubstep movement and an artist who has pushed every possible limit of creativity and versatility, with his sound being recognisable across the entire bass spectrum.

We are over the moon to announce the next release on the Yamatai Records 2025 catalogue coming from none other than London based Fearful with his debut single ‘Dark City / Beldray’ featuring Drum & Bass royalty in the name of Amoss!

We have always been a fan of Chris aka Fearful’s style and music and with a career spanning over a decade he has become a decorated artists releasing projects on some of the most prestigious labels around. Releasing his debut album ‘Interference’ on Diffrent Music back in 2018, Chris’ immaculate work on the project managed to land a spot on UKF’s ‘Best Albums of 2018’ publication.

A project that really demonstrated the versatility and creative prowess that Fearful was withholding, merging a wide array of genres spanning across the Drum & Bass, Techno and Electronica soundscapes. Roll on another 6 years and Chris had been picked up by even more labels, releasing on imprints such as Flexout Audio, Waevs, and the 2 further albums on the mighty YUKU. All adding to the narrative that Feaful is arguably one of the most adaptable producers within the last 10+ years.

‘Dark City / Beldray’ is yet again something completely different to Chris’ normal style, a focus on a more dark and grungy style of Drum & Bass. Highlighting an insanely addictive stripped back approach this two-track single had us heading back to the minimal focused days of 2016 – 2019 and with a special collaboration with fellow producer and long time friend Amoss on the track ‘Beldray’, we just had to snap both these tracks up.

We can finally announce the debut project feature from none other than Dub Ten. After featuring on some of the most iconic Yamatai records releases the budding Austrian producer is finally stepping fully into the spotlight with his long-awaited solo debut release ‘Backstabbed EP’.

Known for his brooding production and razor-sharp sound design, Dub Ten has already made waves throughout the drum and bass scene with releases on labels such as Dispatch recordings and Overviews second label Domain. Dub Ten has been taking the scene by storm, after perfecting his craft for well over 5 years. he began his releasing journey on his label Empathy Audio with his groundbreaking ‘Fallen EP’, a release that took a lot of people by surprise and really showed off the dedication Gab had towards music production.

Backstabbed EP is no different, 4 tracks that showcase Dub Ten’s versatility with styles while keeping his well known sound design mastery. Each track pulses with tension, layered textures, and the distinct sense that nothing is ever quite what it seems. It’s a sonic knife’s edge—sharp, unpredictable, and deeply personal. The EP also features a darkly compelling lineup of collaborators with features from Telm & Wilson, Re:growth and the lyrical wizard Freddy B who all help add new dimensions to Dub Ten’s singular vision.
