Known to his friends as Zak, simbasōl is an electronic music producer, performer & recording artist based in Montreal.He was dancing as soon as he learned to walk, thanks to the music-induced lifestyle his ever-dancing-parents had set out for him. It wasn’t long before simbasōl found his calling under the disco ball & soon after made the jump to maestro,chasing his dreams of contributing to the healing vibrations that music breeds in the world.

Constructed around hard-hitting baselines, groovy percussions & four dimensional synths, simbasōl’s sound is much more than that; His magic is served in authenticity from his inner world, where time seems to stop when he works his craft.

Sometimes, it’s not just about where you’re flying, but why you choose to take off in the first place. 'Where Do You Wanna Fly' isn’t just a mix – it’s a search, a moment to pause, a look inward where music isn’t just heard but deeply felt.

The first sound is like a breath of fresh air, a moment of clarity. The journey begins softly, almost cautiously, as if it’s inviting you to take its hand and prepare for something greater. The melodies feel like fragments of memories – warm, familiar, yet cloaked in mystery.

But as each track unfolds, the atmosphere thickens, the sounds grow bolder. The rhythms push you forward, daring you to let go. Critical Music’s latest powerhouse producer En:vy shifts tempos once again for ‘Alert’, effortlessly reworking his characteristically funk-drenched drum & bass sound within 140bpm.

As demonstrated with the impressively varied ‘Silver Riff’ EP earlier this year, the Austrian producer has little trouble bringing his characteristic ultra-tight grooves and richly layered bass to whatever style he cares to touch.

The tempo might be slower, but ’Alert’ loses none of the raw energy that’s helped rapidly make En:vy’s name - setting dense, gravelly bass oscillations against satisfyingly detuned response tones over a scuffling dubstep rhythm to scratch an itch you never realised you had.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
