Just as the sun finally arrives, so does the long awaited Dub Fx - ‘Theory of Harmony: Remixes’ album on Audioporn Records, featuring reworks of Dub Fx’s hit album by some of bass music’s biggest names, including Krafty Kuts, Xilent, Gaudi, BCee & Villem, Shimon, High Maintenance, Makoto, Spoonbill, Dreadzone, Random Movement, Dilemn, James Marvel & Hypoxia, Champion, and many more.

‘Theory of Harmony: Remixes’ LP covers all bases, from killer-dance floor bangers to smooth summer rollers, Dub Fx’s soulful vocals combine perfectly with some of bass music’s biggest and brightest talents. The remixes are receiving radio support from the likes of DJ Target on BBC Radio 1, Sian Anderson on 1Xtra, Joe Ford and Charlie Tee on Kiss FM, and Stamina on Rinse FM the album’s release coincides with Dub FX’s stunning new live show, which he will unleash upon UK audiences as part of his first comprehensive national UK tour, proudly presented by bass culture’s biggest tastemakers, UKF.

Metrik’s highly anticipated second album ‘LIFE/THRILLS’ released on Hospital Records is an exhilarating and flawlessly executed evolution of his signature sound. Under the banner of drum & bass it draws on his love for film soundtracks, synthwave, neo-soul and the Japanese pop sub-genre, Shibuya-kei and includes collaborations with Elisabeth Troy, NAMGAWD, Roméo Testa, Ragga Twins, Rothwell and Reija Lee.

‘Electric Echo’, a collaboration with Fightstar’s Dan Haigh and Alex Westaway’s synthwave side project Gunship, encapsulates the ethos of the album merging the unfamiliar with D&B sensibilities to create a fresh and exciting new sound. We also welcome the return of Elisabeth Troy in 'Chasing Sunrise' and Reija Lee in 'Cadence' making for two powerful vocal highlights on the record. For those of a purist nature, fear not; Metrik’s sophomore album is one hundred percent drum & bass and he hasn’t forgotten about the dancefloor. Bangers like 'Western Jam', 'Fatso' and 'Destination Earth' make up a serious proportion of the album’s generous fifteen tracks and reinforce his status as one of the heaviest producers on the block.

Over the past year Metrik has travelled the world representing drum & bass at major festivals of all denominations; from Glastonbury and Global Gathering to Outlook and EDC Las Vegas. All the while crafting remixes for the likes of DJ Fresh, Ellie Goulding, Gorgon City and Martin Garrix, and collaborating with fellow D&B superstars TC and Netsky. In 2016 we grew our high-energy club night into a true drum & bass celebration, Hospitality In The Park. The 10,000 strong party drew together DJs, fans, listeners, singers, live acts and MCs together to showcase every shade and style encompassing a 174 heartbeat. As the Finsbury Park fun continues and round two promising even bigger stage takeovers and a myriad of artist weaponry, we present an equally bursting drum & bass double disc, the ‘Hospitality In The Park 2017’ LP.

In the same vein as our all-day summer special, this huge 70 track mash-up spans across a full 360’ perspective of the genre; representing the established, up and coming, soulful, obscure, liquid, innovative, dark, techy, neuro, jungle style and everything in between.

Included are over 25 brand new exclusives from reputable drum & bass titans Danny Byrd, S.P.Y, Makoto and Keeno, there are VIPs from Metrik and Nu:Logic, remixes from Hugh Hardie, Total science, Camo & Krooked and Calibre, and a ‘Bullet Proof’ banger from Krakota.

Across two mixed CDs we’ve drawn for this year’s surefire summer weapons with Fred V & Grafix, The Prototypes, 1991, High Contrast, The Upbeats, Breakage in the mix. With this year’s Incubator stage pulling artists that are rising through the ranks, up and comers’ Whiney, Unglued, GLXY and Kyrist bring exciting new offerings to the compilation.
