4 channel 8 bit Amiga ProTracker 2.3B module.  Written for the tracker comp at Sundown 2013 (Came 1st, w00p!).  Samples "Barbarella" which may just be the greatest film ever made, but then again maybe not (it might just be my teenage years talking ;)

This is basically Happy Hardcore, but with a D&B beat.  Is there a name for that?

I was stuck for a title, so I just wrote the first word that leapt out to me from the book I was reading at the time and played about with it for a bit.  It wasn't until I'd uploaded it to PartyMeister that I realised everyone would think I was referencing Hoffman's "Wrecklamation" (https://soundcloud.com/h0ffman/hoffman-wrecklamation-soundtrack) from a few years back.  :)

Recording of the tune I wrote for the Archimedes demo "Asynchronous" by Desire (https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=92002).  Actually a 4ch 8-bit Amiga MOD.  Recorded from ProTracker as the Archi removes everything above 2.2 kHz.  :)

Pianotary Assault System

Acid Techno track written for the TRSAC 2023 Acid Music compo. It should be longer, obviously, but the time limit in the compo was 4:30.  I keep meaning to do longer versions and upload those instead, but never get around to it, so here we are.

The speech was sampled from one of the skits on Danny Byrd's "Rave Digger" album.  I've no idea if it's _actually_ from a 80-90s news broadcast about raves, but it sounds like it.  :)

Ridiculously titled liquid D&B banger written with ReNoise for the Streaming Music compo at Revision 2017. Didn't make it past the preselection there, so I tried again with it at Nova 2017, where it came 1st out of 6 entries.  ^__^

Brainworm (soundtrack)

Acid Techno track written for the TRSAC 2020 Acid Music compo (which was held at Assembly Online).  Came 6th out of 18 entries.  It should be longer, obviously, but the time limit in the compo was 4:30.

Acid Techno as a variant of Acid in general is indigenous to the London squat rave scene, and they have the habit of including samples that reference London ("London Acid City," "Nothing Can Save Us London," etc.)  So these samples are as near as someone living in the North of England is going to get to that.  :)

The speech is from the movie Mortal Engines.  I first heard it in a trailer last year and my GF and I burst out laughing when we heard the line "We have to stop London before it destroys us."  Unfortunately that line didn't make it into the final movie, so it's got loud bombastic orchestral music under it because I had to sample it from the trailer.  Which is why it's not very clear in the track (The first bit of speech is cleaner because it WAS in the movie).

Originally the were just some funny samples to use, but they turned out to be unexpected satirical...  ;)
