Mauve - warm, floral, earthy, clay, blood, soil, life, rich. Steel - cold, hard, mineral, unwavering, uncaring, industrial. 

Mauve and Steel is an exploration in the complementarity of life and lifelessness, in a time where the lifeless has too much power over life, forgetting that the tools we forge should augment the living, not replace it. It is social media replacing reality, reliance on computation without human context, mixing electronic music without intention. Mauve and Steel is an attempt to harness balance between soul and science, being careful to not mistake technology for life, or ourselves for machine, and an intention to not let a screen become a mirror.
