Für den nächsten Familycast haben wir uns Daniel Kirchner geangelt!
Dieses Jahr auf einem Festival Nähe Berlin spielen gehört und direkt um einen Podcast gebeten. Hier ist das Ding!

Daniel Kirchner, aufgewachsen in Straßburg (MV), entdeckte bereits 1998 auf Deutschlands Tanzböden seine Liebe zur elektronischen Musik.
2007 zog es ihn nach Berlin um Plattenspieler und Mixer zu kaufen. Als die Plattenregale gefüllt waren, wurde zunächst in Bars, auf Afterhours und bei Freunden aufgelegt. Daraufhin folgten bald die ersten Auftritte in Berlins Clubs und auf Festivals. Was Daniel hierbei damals wie heute ausmacht, sind die Freude, die Hingabe, die Energie und das Lebensgefühl, die sich in seiner Musik und seinem Wesen widerspiegeln. Egal ob hinter den Decks oder auf der Tanzfläche! Seine Sets sind energetisch, impulsiv abwechslungsreich. Treibend, rollend, verspielt und verträumt. Ein mitreißender Sound, der Freude macht.

Here's is the recording from my set at our last @kosmos_records Event with @nonameleftmusic , @motomoto_music , @lautaroibanezmusic , @sinah2015 and my co-captain @aio-music ! This was our fifth and last event for this year. It was a phenomenal year of KOSMOS parties full of high notes with amazing artists from all over the world! Thanks to all ravers and artists that shared these moments together on the floors of @elipamanokeclub. BIG HUG to their team for supporting us throughout this incredile time! 🖤

Our KOSMOS event series will now take a break during these frosty winter months until we return early next year to heat up the floors again for another kosmic flight season. Finally got my hands on the recording of my @elipamanokeclub 18 years birthday rave set from April with @kaufmann_unofficial ! Such a special event with lots of badass music to dance to! Eli was my first techno club experience back then and it remains forever close to my heart. Shoutout to all ravers and especially the eli team for providing a safe space for the scene over all these years. Good to see the lady celebrating its adulthood. 🖤

Dark, driving soundscapes, interwoven with shadowy textures, broken up by delicate melodies – an unmistakable sound. The seemingly opposing elements merge into a cohesive whole, transporting both depth and energy equally. Sometimes pulsating and direct, other times minimalist and meticulously detailed – always with a keen sense for dramaturgy and atmosphere.

With releases on renowned labels such as Subios, Jaw Dropping Records, Radikon, Rebellion der Träumer, and ALAULA, the Leipzig-based producer and DJ has carved out a solid place in the international scene. His tracks make their way into the sets of prominent artists like Oliver Huntemann, at festivals like Fusion, and in clubs around the world.

In 2023, together with his close friend @aio.music, he jumpstarted his own label @kosmosrecords, focusing on high-quality sound from the realms of Melodic, Peak-Time & Psy-Tech. Their unique genre blend – which they themselves call „Space Techno“ – shapes a new sonic world that pushes boundaries and awakens previously untapped potential.

In 2024, they expanded the label with the „KOSMOS“ event series in their hometown of Leipzig, providing a platform for both international and national top acts such as Oliver Huntemann, Maksim Dark, and Kaufmann. In doing so, the label has become not only a source of innovative sound but also an important hub for the scene.
