Here's the 4th episode of our Casa de Flamingos series, including tracks by newcomers as well as regular members from our Family. After their first amazing collaboration (Dark Means Disco) climbing the Indie Dance top charts, Russian wonderboy CADILLAC EXPRESS & French talent NOREQUEST (aka Hugo Cantarra) explore a darker techno on 'Call it what you want'. 

Regular members of our Family and best friends in (real) life, ALBANØ, MOOD GORNING & PONTIAS team up again to drop this salty 'Ginger Rob'. Solid groove, driving synths and a very catchy structure give this one all the weapons to get played by A-list DJs within the next months.

Fresh from his stunning LIVE performance on top of CORUM in Montpellier, SEBASS drops a new melodic Progressive flavor on our label. Led by a catchy synth gimmick, this track is focus on dancefloor while the hypnotic vocal and smooth chords will have you dreaming eyes wide open.

Composed by French young talent NOAA, also known as Soundsider, '6am' will catch your attention with his smooth elements and melodic techno progression.

Ukrainian talent KI YERA is back to our family for a second release after the global success of her 'Coming Down' early 2020. 'Back to The Night' is a surprising techno gem, with a mysterious build up, broken beat injections and hypnotic loops. Of course, her stylish voice makes it sound even more unique.

American duo SUBJACENT caught our attention with these acid-techno loops on 'Orange Sky'. Simple but efficient as hell, their mental peak time Techno have all it needs to kill a dancefloor. 

As a conclusion, Dubai-native 8th FLOOR delivers an other minimal techno weapon for dark night sessions…

Exploring the duality in nature and in people, Subjacent produces Melodic Techno and Tech House tracks mixing soft melodies and powerful techno drums. The name Subjacent illustrates their exploration of the theme of duality. Rose and Amandine have been producing music for many years. They are multicultural and met in the Bay Area during an all-female / non-binary music production meetup. Subjacent has been supported on radios like Fault Radio and they regularly play in bars and international clubs, in the Bay area like the Midway, SF. In less than a year they have received the support of international labels like Mioli Music, Family Piknik and were recently played by John Digweed (Transitions #877)

"Our mix is called Pulsar because - a pulsar is both visible and invisible like a lighthouse in the dark. Their radiation can be observed only when a beam of emission is pointing toward Earth (similar to the way a lighthouse can be seen only when the light is pointed in the direction of an observer). So the theme of visible/invisible and bright/dark is very Subjacent 😉

Exploring the duality in nature and in people, Subjacent produces techno, melodic techno tracks mixing soft melodies and powerful techno drums. Their first track “Orange Sky” was released on Family Piknik and has received support from renowned Techno DJs & Music Producers like Tom Pooks, Emanate, and the legendary John Digweed (on Transitions #877). Rose and Amandine are multicultural, they live in the Bay Area and are both DJs and music producers - currently working on their next EPs.
