@volumea1990 is a producer and DJ, best known for his contributions to the rise of the dubstep scene in Malta. His passion for the genre can be felt during his DJ sets as he takes on the crowd on a dark and rhythmic journey.

His first steps in electronic music began in 2006 and he hasn’t stopped growing since. Volume A started releasing tracks on various labels such as: M.U.D, Dirty Beats, One Plus One Entertainment, Dank 'N' Dirty Dubz, Versed, Gradient Audio, Keep Deep and Milc. "For this mix I really wanted to let some of my classic Dubstep taste shine. I included all of my deepest unreleased 70/140 from the vaults, with additions of some recent collaborations with friends. This mix is a homage to the Sublimate sound and the inspiration I pick up everyday around Portland. The follow-up to Traction turns the pressure up. Screams of Horns rolls with tightly cut breaks, layered percussion and a bassline that growls with intent. Metallic mids and stretched horn stabs cut through the mix, building tension that feels built for dark rooms and heavy systems.
