Parking Machines' Deeper Meaning.
  
Write something pseudo deep about a parking ticket machine

The parking ticket machine is not just a mere dispenser of tickets, but rather a symbol of our society's systematic need for order and control. It stands stoically on the street corner, silently collecting its dues from those who seek to park their vehicles in designated areas.

As we insert our coins and press the buttons, we are reminded of our place in the world and the rules we must abide by. The machine, with its unyielding presence, forces us to confront our responsibilities as members of a community and the consequences of our actions.

But beyond its utilitarian function, the parking ticket machine also serves as a metaphor for the human condition. Like the machine, we too must collect our dues and pay our debts in order to function in society. We must follow the rules and regulations set forth by those in power, or risk facing the consequences.

In a way, the parking ticket machine represents the cold, unfeeling nature of authority, yet it is also a reminder that we are all subject to its whims. It forces us to consider the balance between order and chaos, and the sacrifices we must make to maintain a stable society.

DJ Flounce at Querfeld /\ Fusion Festival 2024

Positive vibes from Renate Berlin's Club Garden! 💘 A rainy afternoon and we danced the best out of it! It was Tag der Clubkultur (day of clubculture) in Berlin and I was invited to play at GG Market.

The set starts with the weather like moody and cloudy vibe in that moment in a relaxed matter, but soon catches up the funky vibes I got sent from the crowd. More dancing and more positive mood came up during the set, so I couldnt hold back to bake some groovy House!
Transforming from a very dubby and relaxed mood into a more energetic, uplifting vibe, including lots of feminime energy into the set, since GOALGIRLS* were hosting a cute and creative flewmarket.

Here’s the latest instalment of our Sticky Mix series, where we invite friends of HONEYPOT to get on the decks and record some extra sweet tunes 🐝🍯

Next Honeybee on the decks is DJ Banba!

DJ Banba, a Berlin/Dublin-based DJ, blends groovy rhythms with nostalgic beats to create an uplifting, energetic vibe. Her sets fuse hard groove and trance elements, drawing her crowd into the music and allowing them to lose themselves in the moment. A newcomer to the scene, she has played at Crack Bellmer and AVA Club and is gradually building a name for herself.

This mix features some of DJ Banba’s favourite energetic, feel-good tracks, blended together to get you moving. The mix begins with a light, bouncy groove, gradually shifting into a heavier rhythm, before transitioning back to the uplifting vibe, keeping the energy flowing throughout.

Manta (she/her)

Manta is a Berlin-based DJ, a fierce Chilena Italiana drawing inspiration from cultures and time in a samba band. Her genre-fluid sound brings rhythmic percussive energy with layered basslines. Manta's latest project, frog.bln, is a party series creating a community for FLINTA* prog house artists and dancers. In 2022, she also founded @visionskollektiv, a transdisciplinary collective that organizes festivals, club nights, film nights and workshops.

Notes on the Mix ///

"This mix is a recording of a set I prepared over a year ago, one I’ve kept in my archives until now. It blends hardgroove and tech house. Yum percussive beats, dub basslines and atmospheric synths. Featuring tracks from Saoirse, Bashkka, Ray Kandinski, Amaliah and Bambounou (thank you), this set stays true to my love for swung groove and captures the fast edge of my sound. Listening back, I feel proud of where I’ve come from. Back then, I never would’ve released this. I didn’t think I was good enough. These days, I’m a bit kinder to myself. I look for archival wins to celebrate and remember to enjoy the process. I have practiced and learned so much; it just gets more fun out there. To all emerging artists: keep going, you got this, you are the queen!"

I chose to create a tropical technoid vibe, a jungle like adaption with shakey deep Techno and House tunes.
Dive in deep and have fun feeling the heat which was there!

It all started in 2021 with open-airs in the forests around Berlin, organized by a small group of friends. Today, after countless free open-airs, trucks/stages on demonstrations, cute bar gatherings, club & secret raves, Sublime still stands for the same core values.

Our crew has grown a lot, the music has become more diverse and so has our Sublime family.
