Romanian born producer Alex Cobe or Sub:liminal’s passion for music started at a very young age by learning to play the guitar. Originated from Oradea, somewhere around 2008 he developed a passion for Drum&Bass inspired by the city's underground vibes and parties from that moment. He started to play soulful vibes at local events showcasing his talent around the city.

In 2017 Sub:liminal established his label night imprint called 'Apple Room Drum&Bass’ gaining recognition for its exceptional editions from artists like Pola&Bryson, Silence Groove and more. His journey into music production began in 2018, drawing inspiration from both old and new liquid artists. His debut EP 'Space&Time' on Fokuz Recordings which was released in April 2020 received wide support from industry veterans like: High Contrast, Doc Scott, Muffler, DJ Aphrodite, Dexcell, A-Sides, Philth, Melinki and Random Movement just to name a few. Eversince he got signed on labels like Fokuz Recordings, Pilot Records, Galacy Records, Four Corners Music, Vandal Records and Liquid Series gaining wide support from artists like: LTJ Bukem, London Elektricity, Fred V, Dexcell, Phil Tangent, Dave Owen, Bredren, Anthony Kasper, Incident, Sweetpea and Nelver just to name a few.

Collaborating with HumaNature and Resurgence in the beginning, Sub:liminal released 'Around The World' EP in July 2020, gaining support from renowned artists once again followed by 'Afraid' which was played by LTJ Bukem and many more. Already having a few releases and EPs on Fokuz Recordings , Sub:liminal continues to make his journey in the scene and he’s got to release music on Pilot, Galacy and Vandal Records followed by his debut EP on Pilot Records titled ‘Scenes From A Memory’ in 2023.
