We've been in contact with him for years and we were proper into the music output of the 138 live act duo he had going on. As part of that collaborative project, the guys were on pretty much every big lineup in LA, and toured extensively over Europe too.....Tresor, Basis, Possession - you name it!  Now he's doing his own thing, and the tracks we've been hearing are sick.

For this mix, it's a nice switch up from the past few mixes we've put out. Expect heavy, broken beats with this one!

CMND CTRL Recordings is a Techno label dedicated to musical expression, immersion, technology, and innovation.  We are pleased to showcase fresh new talent from Southern California with a 4-track EP by Insical.  A veteran of the SoCal electronic scene, and member of the famed 6AM Group, Insical delivers 3 unique techno tracks for the masses.  For this release we are highlighting an excellent remix by another newcomer, and close-collaborator of Insicals, named Jonny Maven.  Jonny shows skill beyond his years with this well-produced remix of the track "Robocall".  Punchy kicks and crips percussions are layered by a clever reworking of Insical's original elements and is sure to ignite dance floors across the globe.
