This track is a self-remix of MIDRIBS tune 'In the Piss'. The tune contains choppy distorted and ambiguous vocals, a dark deep baseline, half time drums and an overall dark feel, a great song to listen to after a big night out at a rave. The last section includes drums dripping with delay, responding to dubsteps heavy influence from dub reggae.

Swung hard hitting drums, chest trembling bass lines and a pure dark atmospheric feel to the track. X Surge is the perfect representation of the 'Foundation Sounds' of dubstep in the early 2000s, a dark garage track which is hardly even garage anymore.

X Surge is Nio-B's debut release, and I am happy to have her in the Sublock family!
