Steve Duncan is a Berlin-based DJ and co-curator of the Patterns of Perception platform. In his sets, he offers an atmospheric, driving sound that focuses on narrative, groove and hypnotic rhythm without being fixed to any specific genre.

Originally from Australia, Steve's background in classical music is what first attracted him to the complexity and depth of electronic music. As a classically trained guitarist, he has spent many years fine-tuning his ear for music, accumulating a wide range of influences in the process. 

Together with a close-knit group of friends and collaborators, Steve’s work on Patterns of Perception allows him to explore techno’s sensory depths by inviting forward-thinking artists such as Peter Van Hoesen, Marco Shuttle, Volte-Face, Jamie McCue and natural/electronic.system. to feature at their parties or contribute to their mix series.

2017 looks to be a crucial year for Steve and the Patterns of Perception crew, with their one year celebration taking place at About Blank on May 21, followed by parties at Griessmuehle and their home-base of OHM, as well as their first international appearance in Copenhagen.

Antonio Vázquez is a DJ and music producer from Seville (Spain) based in Berlin since 2011. 
He started producing in 1998. When he moved to Madrid two years later, he began to play. There he had different chances to play in different bars and events, until he got the opportunity to play at
Cassette Club on the inauguration party followed by several times afterwards. 
His style was always focused on environmental and organic sounds, shifting sometimes on more minimalistic and electro
tones. 
The productions were always different styles because of his eclectic music taste and because he made different works for advertisements and websites.
It was though when he arrived to Berlin and after meeting really inspiring friends that he developed his style into deep techno. 
After his podcast for T_Mood, he experienced a really fast and
increasing success playing at ://about blank multiple times in different events, in Manchester at Komme, Pseucho Club in Leipzig and specially he had the biggest chance to play three times at Berghain. 
He has also performed in many different places around Europe and Berlin, and his productions started to be released on Shaded Explorations, Hypnus Records and Semantica.
Antonio is currently a member of the Hypnus Records family and he is preparing more productions and EP's.

“Inhabited Shadows” is the new album by pioneering, Berlin-based techno artist Headless Horseman. This is his most daring and emotional release to date: the culmination of live performance, studio experimentation, and global exploration.

A total sonic experience, “Inhabited Shadows” takes listeners on a deeply personal journey through Headless Horseman’s creative brain. Dark industrial synths and broken beats form the spinal cord. A spirit of lightness and compassion guides the way forward.

From its opening, the album sets hard edges and metallic surfaces against dense and delicate textures. A-tonal figures and percussive attacks merge with melodic flights and soulful rhythms. Classical counterpoint and cinematic soundscapes conspire together. The result is discordant joy.

Headless Horseman’s vitality comes from his determination to remain open and vulnerable as an artist. “Inhabited Shadows”, recorded over eight months in 2019, reflects a period of intensive growth. Each of its nine tracks ventures into uncharted territory, embracing many moods, changing climates, old ghosts, and new risks.

“Over years of trials and tribulations, music has been the antidote”, says Headless Horseman. “I’ve learned to live in shadows and darkness. Now I’m chipping off pieces of my shell and portraying directly how I feel without compromise. I still inhabit shadows, but I can move back and forth between darkness and light.”
