Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @monya for its seventy-first episode of Amplify Series.

Originally from Poland Monya is already based over a decade in Berlin. Since 2009 with her hard work and determination she has seen quick rise through the techno scene. This being visible by her playing alongside most known and respected artist with gigs in New York, Spain, France and allover the world. She played many Times in Tresor and on coolest underground Partys. She found her support from producers like Perc, Bas Mooy, Rebekah, Steve Stoll, Jeroen Search, Mike Parker on several of her own releases.She released her first album for BCR in 2013. In 2014 she launched her own label ‘Corresponding Positions’. Followed by the successful growth of the project, she involved herself in supporting new faces of the scene by realising their fresh and powerful sounds. She shows her biggest passion to industrial techno but doesn’t keep her productions in one range. Different approach and experimental sounds are easily visible in her Live sets. 

In 2019, Monya was welcomed into the HANDS Family with her album "straight ahead". The next release on the label "MORD" - challenge004 was successfully released in 2021. 

After her baby break and corona pandemic, she came back to the stage with fresh live set at "Wroclaw Industrial Festival in Poland, alongside Winterkälte and Dive,  also at the "Beats&Noise" in Germany.

In December 2022  came new Vinyl Release on HANDS "Einweg Ausweg Ende" where she collaborated with Hypnoskull and got amazing Crystal Geometry remix. In February 2023 toured in west coast USA in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco and San Diego. Monya is about to release her second Album on mighty HANDS Label in Autumn/Winter this year.

Estamos muy felices de presentar el segundo volumen de -El Sonido de Bogotá- un disco de varios artistas con una raíz común, la ciudad de Bogotá. ¿Y cómo no hacerle honor a la ciudad con el circuito de música electrónica más activo de no solo Latino América sino de todo América? Por eso, hemos escogido la serie Extra de Techsound Records, la cual desde su origen se ha dedicado a publicar techno en su sentido más amplio, pero siempre fiel al su estilo.

Este release pretende exaltar y reivindicar dicho sonido en días post pandémicos donde la distorsión del género prima. Y siendo claro que dicha ciudad se ha posicionado en el circuito mundial de fiestas, queremos ahora destacar también los artistas que ayudan a crear una identidad musical para la ciudad y el país.

La música habla, así que súbele al volumen, escucha y el sonido de Bogotá.

We are very happy to present the second volume of -El Sonido de Bogotá- an album by several artists with a common root, the city of Bogotá. And how can we not honor the city with the most active electronic music circuit in not only Latin America but in all of America? For this reason, we have chosen the Extra series from Techsound Records, which since its origin has been dedicated to publishing techno in its broadest sense, but always faithful to its style.

This release aims to exalt and vindicate such sound in post-pandemic days where gender distortion prevails. And being clear that this city has positioned itself on the world party circuit, we now also want to highlight the artists who help create a musical identity for the city and the country.

The music speaks, so turn up the volume, listen and the sound of Bogotá.

Orlando Solis also known as Submerge is an American electronic music producer and DJ from Chicago, and son of successful musician Jose Luis Napoleon Solis. The techno aficionado can now be found playing some of the world’s most renowned places such as Berlin’s Berghain, Tresor, Chicago's Smart Bar, Platoon South Korea, Spain’s Fabrik, Vienna’s Camera Club, Nature One, and Def-Con 1 festival. Known for running the label Impact Mechanics, Orlando Solis own productions can also be found on the pristine label Mote Evolver, After successfully touring Europe several times in 2010, his appearance has been in demand each and every year. Submerge’s technical knowledge has landed him an endorsement by the respectable company Allen and Heath and his knowledge of IT has also landed him work at the prestigious School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Orlando also performs live under the alias Impact Mechanics and his music is being played by some of the biggest acts.
