Stealth. Simplicity. Seductive sophistication. André Winter, a man who has spent so much of his career under the radar behind a dazzling array of pseudonyms from D-Saw to Motion Unit to Freakazoid, rises up once again under his own name on Oliver Huntemann's Senso Sounds label, sticking to the first principles that always make his music so compelling.
'Decreased' and 'Amplified' bear his essential hallmarks: a stripped down techno sound with an intense focus on space, reverb and the precise balance of sounds in relation to one another.
The former hinges on a deceptively simple two-note melodic pulse to create a deep, driving groove. It's deliciously pure techno, devoid of flashes and flourishes, where each functional ingredient is chosen with care and finely tuned: all the better to produce a visceral emotional response in the listener.
'Amplified' has a similar rigorous attention to detail - a high-tempo hypnotic techno with all the gears to drive a dancefloor to delirium. Nevertheless, Winter still has a trick up his sleeve, dropping away at the point of climax to leave an instantly memorable, dotted-rhythm synth motif dancing in the air.

Whilst he may be a fresh name to some, Russian producer Maksim Dark has already impressed the likes of Dubfire and Richie Hawtin with his fearless, groovy brand of techno, and the SCI+TEC boss has already tempted us with an early introduction to the ACIDSTAGE Ep via his recent Boiler Room set. 

Staying true to his name, Maksim Dark, our latest debutant has delivered 4 tracks of shadowy minimal goodness, each featuring the artist on demonic vocal duties. From the driving synth groove and white noise washes of ‘Bassewiser’ and the stripped bare, linear sounds of ‘Coneblower’ to the bubbling and yet biting sounds of title track ‘Acid Stage’ and sci-fi squeals and ominous chords of closing number ‘Harpsichord’, we’re given the perfect introduction to this exciting young artist.

A truly Unique Collabo between the mexican Vazik, Boho and Paul Feris is coming together on the upcoming Jannowitz release.
Paul Feris, who has long been part of JAW's inventory, teamed up with Boho in the studio for starting. But they weren't really happy with the product itself so they've been asking Vazik for some feedback, who directly told them, that this ep is something special and asked them both for finishing the Single.
Some dirty synths sounds have been added, and the clap sound was changed into something more energetic.
This track has been finished vice versa, so Matthias and Lars took the chance to release this magical thing as their Debut Single on Jannowitz Rec.
Since the BOHO's have a very diversified music taste and international influence, the duo has quickly emerged from a starting project, to a full cooperations Project, with more jaw label buddies involved as remixer on an international level. Kalil & Jessica Tribst are the Brazilian part & the legendary Kaiser Souzai guys from Germany take over the techno part which is slightly rougher than the original.
A track that sounds different 4 times was the goal, and is presented in high quality with this uber EP. A symbiosis that can certainly be seen. In addition, we celebrate Jessica Tribst's first official remix, as she loved to be on the Jannowitz family with her love for the German imprint.
Like our Jannowitz recipe, remixes and original are done for peaktime, afterhours and open airs.

Velika uspješnica zagrebačke kantautorice Sare Renar, pjesma ‘Tišina’, upravo je pod etiketom Aquarius Recordsa objavljena u jednom novom, modernom i za hrvatske prilike zapravo prilično nesvakidašnjem izdanju. 

Remix je to sve uspješnijeg splitskog producentskog i DJ dvojca Outcome, snimljen ove godine u njihovom studiju i uspješno proteklih mjeseci testiran na brojnim hrvatskim i inozemnim plesnim podijima. 

‘Oduvijek smo htjeli napraviti snažnu pjesmu s hrvatskim vokalom i modernim melodičnim zvukom, a Sarina ‘Tišina’ za to je bila idealna. Eksperimentirali smo s njom u studiju, igrali se i u nekom trenutku počeli je puštati publici kroz naše DJ setove ili dio repertoara naših prijatelja poput Lawrence Kleina, kojemu se stvar jako svidjela’, kažu momci iz Outcomea.

Reakcija publike bila je sjajna i autori su zaključili da je možda došlo vrijeme da projekti takve vrste, a melodična elektronika s ovako jakim vokalima na globalnoj sceni melodične elektronike odavno je hit, konačno zažive i u Hrvatskoj.

Submerge is a breakthrough concept, and has revolutionized the music and clubbing scene in India.

Submerge was essentially born out of frustration. When we first began in 2003, it was because there was no alternative to the mainstream. No matter where you went, you got the same old music and the same tired experience.

So, we created a night where we could play the music that we wanted to hear, that we wanted to move to. We wanted to play the latest tracks from the global club scene because that’s what we were into. It wasn’t about catering to the masses; it was about being on the cutting-edge of music, listening to the best in House and Progressive music.

In the beginning, Submerge nights were getting smaller crowds of fifty people. They were some of our closest friends, and others who were just as obsessed about the musical experience as we were, people who were starved for Tribal, Electro and Tech House music. Very quickly the word spread and our friends grew rapidly in number. 50 turned to 100, then to 200, and 500. It continues to grow to this day.

In fact, most clubs in India have even changed the music they play. Submerge was first on the scene. We identified that thirst because it was our own and we were dying for it. The rest of India took note of our success and co-opted it for its marketability.

Submerge is always going to be about the musical experience, with Tribal, Electro, Tech, and Progressive House music brought to you by the best DJs from around the world, hosted all over India. We pride ourselves in finding the best tracks, even unreleased white labels still hot off the presses.
