In our podcast number 124 Hórnbęrg underlines this wind of change musically.  In a fascinating way he draws sound pictures of falling leaves, skin reproduction, sunny clouds, shaky grounds. A vibe of something new. 
Born and raised at the Baltic Sea area, Hórnbęrg moved to Berlin where he devoted himself to music. He started a podcast series named Gramofonowa., acted closely together with STAUB, Intergalactic Research Institute For Sound or Art Bei Ton and worked at the JustMusic Store Berlin. As a DJ he is a true record digger and is equally comfortable playing bizarre, left-field sounds and ambient as he is in the field of techno. He developed his ear within the rich cultural context the city of Berlin provides.
Now after 20 years back in Rostock he doesn’t think about leaning back. He is the Co-Host of Kyr, a monthly ambient series of Callshop Radio and is always on the go to spread the big facets of electronic music.

Let’s welcome Hórnbęrg and with him the new reality of autumn.

Please check the audio file: it has short snippets of several DNB tunes by an artist you haven't heard much about but who, imho, needs to be heard.
Basically he makes some wicked, different DNB which I'd like to release. He's not much of an online type (he's a studio hermit!), and I feel he could use some words of encouragement about his stuff, so IF YOU LIKE this type of sound, do leave a comment here or on Soundcloud, and I'll let the artist know!

I want to get his EP out.

Aikanã is one of the few good things the C-19 Pandemic has created. In the first lockdown two well-known artists of the dark and jungle drum and bass scene started a collaboration to work on a new sound. So the project Aikanã was born. They have already released music on labels like @kurnugu and @zod-dnb. But until now the real identities behind Akainã are unknown.
Enjoy the anonymous 1 hour ride into the darkness together with Aikanã!

Subminimal or Tjorvi Oskarsson, has his roots in jungle and early drum and bass music and those influences cut through his music. His sound has been described as deep grooves with an ambient atmospheres he is in the forefront of icelandic Drum and bass.
