The third episode of the Densiflora podcast belongs to the co-founder of Densiflora - @axis_operandi. As he describes his mix: This is a sample of my capabilities when I present my more house-oriented side. To be more precise, you will find here both house and minimal or breakbeat. You'll hear my favourite motifs in this mix, organic beats as well as some kind of trance vibe, but I think the key word of this mix is deepness. I wanted to include a lot of warm up vibe, as well as conduct the story into slightly more ecstatic tones, but without losing the character of the whole mix. This week we are glad to welcome the musical work of Daniel Kyo, also known as CØRE. He blends his passion for hypnotic music by producing beautiful tracks and by playing all around the globe from Tokyo to New York to Berlin. Some of his stops include Panorama Bar and the Primavera Sound festival. Originally from Spain and based in Berlin, he is a visionary producer and has been active in the scene for over a decade. In case you'd like to explore his productions, check out his recent ep on @norite ''Pearls of Ras Dashen''. Additionally, new, exciting work is coming up in a couple of weeks on @sungate-records.

The stories told in his electrifying tracks also translate soundly in his sets, and therefore we're happy to have him on board. This show with guest: Forest On Stasys

The creativity of Forest On Stasys is Influenced by tribal minimalist techno in the nineties and the deepest and most abstract techno currently. In his tracks the most seductive elements are the use of resonant basses perfectly combined with long and reverberated pads, extensive sonorous landscapes that are modified by continuous movement of LFO, solid grooves and strident percussions.

But not everything that comes out of his head is created with an intention to be used on the dance floor. He has a great admiration for drone and ambient tracks, without a rhythmic pattern that predominates, where the main factor is to captivate the listener with melodies that can be marked by a strong melancholy or with notes that give a certain feeling of satisfaction depending on his current mood.

As we gradually transition between the spring equinox and summer solstice, we couldn’t think of a more perfect mix to represent the transformation and our earth’s energies being at their strongest and most active. Podcast 111 (a number also symbolising awakening, enlightenment, high energy and inspiration) comes to you from A Sacred Geometry who, through his music, “creates a nostalgic ambient reality redolent of space and texture” - a source of much of our inspiration over recent years.

Listening to this beauty is like an invigorating breath of fresh air, re-rooting you to the earth, and re-connecting you with Mother Nature's innate beauty and magnificence, while reminding us that in essence, we are in fact one and the same with her.

For us, this mix is what the earth sounds like - sun rise and sun set, and the serenity, hope, sense of newness, and letting go, that come with both.

A Sacred Geometry manages to convey these feelings not only through his mixes, but his productions too. In fact, Sædís (2016) was a pivotal moment in our musical journey for this very reason, the effect being exactly the same sense of connection to something so much bigger than us, and it was from that moment on that we’ve followed his journey and taken inspiration and comfort from his creative outputs.
