Having been lost in the Discogs realms for many years, without many sound clips online, each of The Piroman’s EPs began to gain a lot of traction online. 

The Piroman EP, the first of 2 projects released back in the 90s, features three tracks with rolling electro/breaks elements throughout, inspired from the West Coast. All 3 tracks were given a European twist and will now fit onto modern day dance floors comfortably.

This EP will be released along with an insert, with a little more information on The Piroman and their earlier influences. 25 years later - The Piroman returns…

Based in Seoul, His ever-expanding palette spans from house/techno/ trance to disco/downtempo, as he concentrates on mixing it all at the right moment with the right mood. 

Jesse has played at the first Boiler Room Seoul in 2016, and he appeared on various notable stages such as Wonderfruit Festival(TH), Savage(VN), Red Light Radio(NL), Spectrum Formosus Festival(TW) and more, also his mix for Honey Soundsystem(SF) was picked as Resident Advisor’s Mix of the Day. 

As a producer, his debut single called ‘Bamboozle’ was released in Honey Badger Records’ compilation series HBRTRX Vol.4 in 2021. Then, following tracks such as ‘Palm Room’ for compilation 88 - Double Happiness Vol.5 and also ‘Froggy '93’ for NUGNET’s compilation, powered by the label Limousine Dream was released in 2022. 

Last but not least, Jesse co-runs new independent label called Walls and Pals and showcased 2nd and 3rd catalog series [Pals FM: Floor Materials] compilation, also including his original work ‘Silly and bright’ recently.

Haunted Dancehall is launching its podcast series, HD Series, and we're thrilled to welcome Phase O'Matic for the premiere. A young London-based producer and DJ who has been on our radar for a while now. 

Whether it's his notable appearances on Various Artists projects, recently released on labels like Non Stop Rhythm or No Tech Just Wax, or through his solo EPs that have found homes on labels such as L&T Recordings, Philoxenia, and even the iconic Libertine Records, Phase O'Matic delivers dark music at the crossroads of techno and rock in its EBM/industrial facet. 
A sound that could have resonated just as well at a Belgian warehouse party in the '90s as on any open-minded contemporary dancefloor.

It's this vision that Phase O'Matic brings to the turntables, whether at Libertine parties or in podcasts like this one, offering us a one-hour journey through aggressive and yet captivating rhythms.
