Sometime Record Labels & Remixers jump on the current trend train...when they should just stick with the original mix of the track. This was the case in 1989/1990 with Jane Child's Release of "Don't Wanna Fall In Love" the Video Version aka the Original Version was and still is the best. Instead of a remix or extended mix of it, they jumped on the then "hot" Teddy Riley Train and released mixes only of the R&B/Hip Hop Sound, which totally removed the Driving Energy of the original. This is an original composition performed live on two Novation Launchpads in User 1 mode. The two MIDI controllers are playing original samples in a sequence to create the sound. The right hand controls most of the tuneful sounds whilst the left hand is responsible for keeping in time, playing a custom drum kit and various FX and vocal loops.
